There's a reason why Chris Seid is so highly recommended by wedding planners. He was so flexible, pleasant, and patient. And I was the worst bride to photograph cuz of my ugly face. Chris offers videography services as well. The advantage of booking both the photography and the videography services within the same company is that the boys work so well together. They communicate with each other all the time so that no one is in each other's shot. No one is trying to outshine the other person. It was honestly quite harmonious. The pictures and the video were spectacular. I'm so happy with how everything turned out. If the vibe that you're looking for is light, breezy, happy, casual, not too serious... I cannot begin to describe how amazing Chris was as our wedding photographer! If I could rate him higher than 5 stars, I would! From our initial meeting, he was very nice, professional, and was flexible in customizing our package to fit our needs. He is very prompt in responding to emails and we were so surprised that he was able to send our wedding photos back to us so quickly. The photos were absolutely breathtaking! On the day of our super long and tiring 14 hour wedding, Chris was nothing short of professional, calm, fun, patient, and made sure our wedding party and family felt comfortable in front of the camera. He went the extra mile and even came a little earlier than scheduled to ensure that my getting ready photos were captured. It really helped that Chris was able to communicate with my family in Cantonese so that we could be as efficient as possible. I also appreciated his attention to detail while instructing us on how to pose for the photos. I highly recommend using Chris as your wedding photographer, you seriously cannot go wrong! Chris and his team truly went above and beyond and exceeded all of our expectations! read more

Chris has the power to relax wedding couples, especially for us who gets more nervous when facing the camera. He has the magic of calming us down, and take really nice and elegant pictures! We had Chris and his team for our engagement session, photos and video for the wedding day, and the photo booth....yup, the whole shebang. We loved the experience, they know exactly what they need to do on the day. We didn't need to worry about, all we did is telling him how much time we have for photo shooting of the day. And at other times, I can see him and his team being there capturing the important moments. I had to keep reminding them to eat dinner since we got so busy, they are super responsible and reliable. We got our wedding photos really fast and are very satisfied with how they look! The most comments we received from our family and guests are how wonderful and nice our photographers are, it's always nice to know our guest liked our choices and having as much fun as us! read more

Looking for a wedding photographer? Chris is your guy! As many of you know, planning a wedding can be exhausting, especially, when it comes to picking the right photographer to capture your special day. My wife and I spent a ton of time looking into different photographers' style in the LA/OC area, and eventually put together a shortlist of photographers that possess the quality and style we were looking for. Among all, Chris was the most responsive and provided every detail that we needed and requested promptly, while some responded with generic copy and paste messages. On the day of our wedding, Chris arrived early to get things set up. He also brought another photographer with him. My dog hated him at first but he was cool with Chris once he realized Chris was taking some good looking photos of him. The photo shoot was awesome! Never in my lifetime had I thought that I would enjoy a photo shoot as much as I did. Chris was super easy to work with and just knew how to capture the best version of us (and our dog, too). The photos came out just the way we wanted. I had no idea that I could look that good until I saw the photos taken by Chris ! Again, if you're looking for an experienced photographer with great personality, Chris is your guy! read more

We were introduced to Chris by our wedding planner. From the start we were impressed with his sense of dedication. After a poor experience with our pre-wedding photos, my fiancee put extra effort into vetting Chris and he was more than willing to take the time to answer our questions and put our minds at ease. It's clear that Chris has great enthusiasm and passion for his work and recognizes how important the day is to his clients. On the day of our wedding, Chris and a second photographer, Jayrol, showed up early to do wedding prep photos effortlessly capturing the proceedings without being a distraction. Both Chris and Jayrol were consummate professionals from start to finish even staying past our agreed upon time to capture every last shot. Chris' greatest strength is his clear communication, providing detailed instructions on how to pose while keeping the environment relaxed and everyone smiling. He's also super upbeat and that sense of energy helps towards the end of a long day of shooting. With years of experience Chris is also familiar with most of the popular wedding venues and photography sites in the Los Angeles area and this knowledge really paid dividends during the shoot. We couldn't be more pleased with the way the photos turned out. A couple of my friends are serious photographers themselves and they were impressed with the quality of the photos as well. With hundreds of wonderful photos to choose from the hardest thing now is trying to figure out which ones make the cut for our photo album, but that's definitely a good problem to have. read more

The Man, the Myth, the Legend! Chris Seid! We were lucky to have booked with Chris and the opportunity to work with him and his team for our wedding weekend. During this creative era we are living-in, everyone with a DSLR camera claims to be a "photographer" of some sort. Chris has the DSLR (and an arsenal of other professional equipment) and brings years of experience, expertise and professionalism. Additionally, he has a human aspect that my wife and I truly enjoyed from our first meeting with him. He has an amazing ability to work a crowd of 200+. Our guests loved interacting with him. He is a true professional and someone you want on your wedding team from day 1. Thank you Chris. You and your team truly exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond to make our wedding so memorable. read more

Can't stop looking at my wedding photos! I cannot tell you how amazing Chris is. I have to admit - I think my husband and I were crazy during our wedding and very demanding with a small budget. Chris had to deal with all our questions and emails and last minute stresses that I'm surprised he still kept us as clients. He is absolutely the best photographer and you WILL NOT be disappointed. He also offers videography and photobooth services which makes it easier for the couple. But the best thing about Chris is his attitude. Our wedding day was extremely hot and we had him and his team working for 10 hrs. He was sweating and dipping and diving through it all and still kept his game face and a smile on. He even kept my husband and I positive when we were tired of taking pictures! And the end result? AMAZING PICTURES! My husband is also a photographer and couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the end results. There were some impossible shots to get (due to lighting|shade|320 people to direct) and Chris was some how able to pull it off. Even if you post edited or photoshopped, it would have been incredibly difficult to take certain shots but Chris pulled it off. I am so happy with the end results. And an additional plus - we got our images back within a couple of weeks. We went on our honeymoon and when we got back, our pictures|video were done. It was the fastest turnaround I had ever heard of. Chris - if you see this, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING! read more

We were very lucky to have Chris as our leading photographer for our wedding on December 8th 2013. To share all of our great experience working with Chris, we would need at least a 10-page single-spaced word document to tell you how much we enjoyed working with him and how much we love his products. But to save you some time of reading, we just summarize the most important qualities you are looking for in a photographer: Talent: Chris is undoubtedly one of the most talented artists we know. He has great eyes for beauty. He knows how to play with light, shades and colors to enhance natural beauty. His work product does not only present the subject but also tells stories about the subject. You can feel through his photo love, sentiment and feelings unspoken with words... Passion: There may be many photographers having talent in the industry but unfortunately not many have enough passion with what they do. Chris distinguishes himself from the crowd with his passion about photographing. He takes his time getting to know the venue and the bride and groom. He cares about what the bride and groom think and help to realize their vision of the wedding. He observed and captured many beautiful things we did not notice at our wedding. Professionalism: Chris is the most professional person we have ever worked with. He is extremely punctual, patient and friendly. He and his partner collaborated very well at our wedding. Their shooting arrangement worked beautifully with our schedules. Chris is a gentleman with great manners and cute smiles. All our guests loved him! Thank you Chris! We wish you the best luck of all in continuing success of your business. read more

Ladies and gents, on the wedding day, you want to make sure you find the one you can trust to capture all the important moment and make you look like a million dollars in the photos. You can't rewind the time and do it again and hope to "catch" it. I have heard so many horror stories and complains from friends and families with their "un"professional wedding photographers. You want to leave the task for the true professional so you can enjoy every moment on your big day, trust me, it goes so fast and the moment you realize it was too late. Chris was the #1 photographer in our mind after seeing many other photographer's portfolio when we were looking for our destination wedding photographer, it sure feels like winning a lottery when were were able to book him on the date of our wedding. Chris is talented, funny, easy going and very detail oriented, will spend time going over things on the first initial meeting, et a feel if there's a fit for style and needs. He will also visit the location and get an idea for any potential photo spots and the flow. Be sure to work with him since he has seem more weddings then any of us, his recommendation will make the photo turn out much better! Take a look of our photo samples on yelp, if you like our photos, you definitely will like his style of photography. Cheers and good luck!! read more

Chris was the first and only photographer I met with when I was engaged. My friend highly recommended him since she used him for her wedding, and after meeting with Chris, I felt like the search was over. Chris was very personable, down to earth, honest, accommodating, knowledgable, and so easy to work with. Chris is also available to travel overseas for destination weddings, since we considered that as an option in the beginning. My now husband and I spent a lot of time with Chris during the engagement photoshoot. I gave him a vision of what I was looking for and he gave me suggestions as I was kind of lost at locations. Chris was very knowledge on locations and what looks great, time, restrictions etc., we ended up going to Malibu El Matador beach for the shoot and the photos turned out stunning. Chris knew in advance what day the tides would be good and when the weather was the most beautiful. Chris really knew how to pose us so we look good in photos, it may not be the most comfortable when we were being posed, but after seeing the photos come out, it was totally worth it! I discussed with Chris in advance on my insecurities and he worked the camera/ our poses to avoid/ diminish areas i didn't want to be show too much of. I felt this really helped me save a lot of photoshop editing! Before the wedding, Chris asked specifically if there was anything I wanted to capture, a list of family members etc, to make sure I'll get what I am asking for, and I also told him about family members to avoid being photographed together (not everyone gets along, unfortunately), which he respected and kept that in mind to avoid unnecessary drama. On our wedding day, Chris and his partner Kat were on time & ready to work. Chris took a lot of photos that I didn't even know were taken, which I appreciate, I now have photos of some of these candid moments I don't remember from the wedding night, which is wonderful. the posed photos looked beautiful and I got lots of compliments from friends and family of how great they look. some of these photos really moved me. wedding photos are for a lifetime, it's a huge decision, and I feel that I definitely made the right choice on booking Chris as my photographer.Read Less read more

His level of professionalism, respect, knowledge, communication, and punctuality is superb. It's been a bit more than a year since my wedding. I watched the videos and pictures Chris and his team worked on our wedding countless times and I have to say that it was the one of the best decisions we made besides getting married. Of course like everyone else, we did our research when hiring our wedding photographer. I kept hearing and reading that you should not settle when hiring your photographer or videographer (if your budget can allow for that) and was glad we did not. After talking to several photographers, we could tell Chris was one we liked the most. He was very professional and answered all of our questions and concerns without getting annoyed at us (because well I had a lot of them haha). I love that Chris was flexible with my requests and he was able to capture our day. He was super prompt day of and I barely noticed he was there with his crew the whole day! We actually received our photos pretty quickly after our wedding and we just love them all! read more

Highly recommend! read more

Me and my wife were amazed at the quality of photos that Chris and his assistant did at our wedding as well as our engagement photos. He has a knack for doing the right angles at just the right times, he wanted us to be fluid and natural which is great because me and my wife like that type of photography. His photos were organic and elegant at the same time. He was always open to suggestions by me and my wife, giving us opportunities to try different looks. Besides his work and photography talents, he was VERY accommodating and nice, always talked with a smile, knew how to keep us in the right mindset even though it was 100 degrees outside doing the photos. He drove us around the venue in his air conditioned car and provided cold drinks, excellent service beyond the actual photography. Lastly, the price. I would have paid double if I had the money, he is an EXCELLENT bang for your buck. He is not snobby and pricey like some other photographers, he gives you the best quality service at a competitive price. We had talked to other photographers asking for double what he had asked and for the same services. All in all, if I were looking for a charismatic, talented, and competitively priced photographer look no further than Christopher Seid Photography, more than 5 stars for him if I was able to, You cannot go wrong with him on your wedding day or any special occasion for that matter. Thanks Chris! Sincerely, Matt and Becca read more

Chris is a super fun, professional, patient, flexible and talented photographer! We hired Chris for our engagement and the day of wedding back in 9/2013. It was the best decision!! I checked out probably a dozen of photographer's websites and met with 3 in person before choosing Chris. Chris is such a down to earth guy with a friendly smile and personality. All our guests like him. I am sure you will too! My husband and I are not so photogenic, but Chris was so helpful in directing us on how to pose in many creative ways, and the results were incredible. We looked so relaxed and natural. Words can't described how much I liked the pictures. I highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a talented photographer. I guarantee you will be impressed. Wow I can't believe I forgot to review Chris Seid Photography. Sorry Chris. It has been almost year since my wedding reception and when my wife and I look over our pictures we can't stop smiling. It was beautiful day filled with great memories with family and friends and Chris did an amazing job capturing those memories. I really can't say enough. Chris is very professional, personable, prompt and punctual. He is great listener and will deliver what you ask of him and more. Chris will put your wedding picture stress away because what he promises will get delivered. Chris has a great eye and vision for how to capture the moment. I really can't say enough great things about him. He is a true professional. Chris also did our engagement pictures which were kind of out of his comfort zone but he didn't hesitate. My wife and I like to trail run and we found a trail that we thought would be perfect for our pictures. We told Chris about it and he said no problem. We told him he had to hike about 1.5 mile up (it was a steep climb and this was the shortest route) with his gear and trek another mile to get to the location. Chris tackled that hill without any problems and had enough energy to spend several hours (more like over 4+) on the trail making sure the pictures turned out beautifully. After that he even said let's go to the beach and take some pictures since it was pretty close. Chris is amazing. If you need a photographer for your big day or any event I highly recommend Chris Seid Photography. You won't regret it. read more

Words can't express what an amazing experience we had with Chris and his team! We had our engagement shoot, wedding photos AND videography ALL done by them. Our search for the perfect photographer was a lengthy one. We wanted the right style and the right person. So when we met Chris for the first time we knew he would be perfect for the job. Chris was really sweet and made us feel at ease which we knew would be helpful on our wedding day. When it came to deciding our engagement shoot location Chris was very helpful and flexible with our crazy ideas. In the end we did one indoor location and an outdoor one. Each location had a different vibe and Chris was great at helping us relax since we had never taken professional photos before. By the end of the shoot we completely forgot we were having our pictures taken. When we got the photos back we were floored. The photos were beautiful and Chris made us look like naturals! They were perfect. At this point, we couldn't wait for the wedding! The day of the wedding Chris and his team showed up on time and ready to go. To tell you the truth, the only reason I knew they were there was because Chris said hi when he walked in. Otherwise, I barely noticed they were there which was a huge plus for me. Our family and bridal party also loved how professional yet easy going they all were. Everyone we've shared our photos with falls absolutely in love with the quality and everything that Chris was able to capture. We couldn't be happier with the end result. If you're looking for a talented and just overall great team, I suggest you reach out to Chris. He was responsive and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Thanks Chris for the amazing work! read more

How can you not love Chris? Without making this into a long love letter, I'll give you the main things you probably want to know: a - Prompt & Punctual b - Thoughtful & Listens Well - I had certain absolute DON'Ts about the photog style I wanted, and he was very attentive to that c - Quick - I don't mean in a bad way; I mean he doesn't drag his feet - you don't have to follow up about anything ... our photos were in-hand in a flash d - has an assistant photog who has an Australian accent that'll make your bridesmaids listen to whatever he says (look at all the big smiles my girls have on!) e - An overall wonderful person to have share and be a part of your special day (or any occasion!) ... They fit well into the "background" or "scenery" when they needed to, and had such wonderful attitudes - not the domineering or uptight attitudes that some photogs (I did do some pre-warning though about my fam's craziness, so I suggest you do the same, for all your vendors! that way - no surprises!) Conclusion; love your photos, your photographer & your wedding. Chris also came over for our Sunday Brunch and got great candid shots of a very intimate moment that my family has never gotten on film before ... so aside from great wedding & engagement shots - use him for any special event that you want permanent memories of! Till the next event or occasion! read more

We got married on 2/9/14 and Chris has been amazing since day one! I work part time as a wedding planner assistant so I have come into contact with many photographers. When I first met Christ at a wedding couple years ago, I knew that when it was my turn to get marry, I NEEDED to have him simply because it was so easy to talk to him and he's very friendly and his pictures ALWAYS come out amazing! Chris also did our engagement photos and even though it was freezing that night, he made sure we were comfortable and took amazing shots of us! He is patient and willing to listen to what you want and don't want. He even lugged all of his heavy equipment with him as we went on a little hike! This man goes the extra mile to get the perfect shot and has lots of amazing ideas. He told my husband and I to climb this big branch and I was very hesitant at first but those shots turned out to be perfect in every way so trust him when he tells you to do crazy things! On the day of the wedding, he paid attention to details and the fact that he spoke Cantonese helped with a lot since some of my family member did not speak English. It was so easy and fun to work with him. His second shooter, Eden was with the boys most of the day and he got amazing shots of them. If you want a fun, professional, and easy to work with photographer, Chris is the perfect person to hire. I promise you won't regret it because I know we didn't! read more

As someone who does thorough research for decisions big or small, choosing to go with Chris as our wedding photographer was a rather easy one. I met Chris at my friend's wedding where I was a groomsman, so I had a chance to see his work and be photographed by him beforehand. When I saw how great he made me look (forget about the bride and groom, jk) I knew I should consider him for my wedding as well. We researched many photographers and met with a handful in person. At the end of the day, we felt most comfortable with Chris and went with him for the following reasons. The Work- let's not kid ourselves, it doesn't matter how funny or nice the photographer is, if he or she takes crappy pictures (and worse, doesn't know it), then there's no point. Chris' work speaks for him. We compared his portfolio to the others and the quality of work was among the best. The Photographer- of course, if the person has photographic talents but is lacking personality, who wants that either? Way to ruin the wedding atmosphere and add an unnecessary stress to an already stressful day. Chris is a personable guy. We all liked him. He's patient and on top of things. He knows how to command the wedding party and people, and works well with the videographers (who are second in priority in importance in my opinion). We had a lot of people at the ceremony, including families who wanted every combination and permutation of photos possible, and I thought he handled it all in strides while keeping us on schedule.. which brings me to.. Experience- we had a packed schedule our wedding day with the Chinese tea ceremony in the morning, afternoon ceremony at the Garden Gazebo at Pacific Palms, and then reception in evening, with lots of scheduled photos time in between all events. Chris has done tons of many different weddings (especially helpful that he's worked our venue before) and his experience helped a lot in terms of how we should go about planning the day. I'm pleased with how we were generally on schedule for the whole day while not sacrificing much. The same for the engagement photo shoot. We weren't sure where to go and his suggestions of locations matched what we were looking for; when we saw the engagement photos, we had high expectations of the wedding photos.. and he delivered. Financials- weddings are expensive as hell and we all have that magic "budget" that we try to stick to, but end up going over by 15-20%. I will say though if there's one area to NOT skimp, it would be wedding photography. I think good pictures are priceless and worth every penny. That being said, some of the quotes we got from others were ridiculous. Chris' pricing, I feel is fair (although you should probably book him soon since his popularity continues to rise). All in all, we're very happy with Chris and our engagement and wedding photos. We'll likely be using him again for other photo shoot in the future as our family grows. read more

Chris Seid photography is strongly recommended!! Chris and his team should definitely come first when you are looking for a reliable and professional photography team who knows how to capture the best moments of your big day and the best photos. We started with a few different photographers at the beginning of our wedding planning. We immediately like Chris's photos the best and had a call with Chris. He was so friendly who cares a lot about your wedding and even spending the time to start giving advice that is not related to his photography services. One of our friends who was unable to book him for her wedding because Chris was already booked at that time also recommended him because Chris's professionalism is well known. Fast forward to our wedding day... Chris was so awesome with the best attitude from the beginning to the end. The team arrived very on time with big smiles and positive energy to get you started with your day. We are someone who don't do well in front of camera, but with Chris's help, we were able to calm our nerves and had fun while he and his team making all of the stunning shots throughout the day. Chris and his team were so dedicated to work and made us feel like they care about our wedding as much as we do. We were surprised to have our wedding photos ready so soon after the wedding and we are in love with the photos! We got so many compliments from our guests who think we look gorgeous on the photos and our guests love their photos too! Life (especially your wedding day) happens in a flash but memories are forever. Many thanks to Chris and his team for creating all the best snapshots for us to keep as a lifetime of memories! read more

We feel so lucky to have Chris as our wedding photographer. From the moment we met Chris, we knew we can trust him. He showed us his portfolio and all of his work is amazing. We chatted a little and he's a very nice and easy-going person. We know he would not add stress on our special day. Plus the pricing is very reasonable. So we pretty much decided to book him immediately. We had several communications with Chris between the time I booked him (11/2013) and my wedding day (5/3/2014). He replied all my emails and calls promptly. He also went to our wedding site to get a better idea where to get good shots. When the big day finally arrived, Chris and his talented assistant showed up on time and took so many great photos. We honestly love every single pictures. It has nearly a year since I got married, I remember my first photo shoot is with Chris for my engagement photos. He show us the style of his work, his technique of shooting , the views, and everything the way the photos came out, made us feel comfortable in a photo shoot. My fiancé and I at the time knew Chris is the one that will be capturing our future memories together. Our engagement session suppose to be half a day, but Chris willing to take the extra time and take us to multiple places with beautiful scenery which my wife and I loved. Even though my wife and I are not regular posing couples on camera, Chris sure made us feel we are a natural, guiding us the way step by step. My wife and I enjoy the professional engagement shoot and knew we want Chris back for our wedding day. I had a traditional Chinese wedding, and it is a great plus to have Chris to communicate with our families. We knew our wedding day will not be easy, it was a long day to be remembered. Chris is truly a hard working photographer with lots of skills. I am glad he guide us the way, excellent timing and very organized. Planning a wedding can be nerve-wracking, and my wife and I both agreed one of the most important decisions was which photographer to choose. After checking with 3 other photographers, we had our meeting with Chris Seid, and we never looked back. His professionalism and experience were evident from his portfolio, and his friendly and easy-going manner sold us on him immediately. His desire to get to know us and our own needs before the wedding set our minds completely at ease. Chris was very easy to keep in contact with. When we needed to adjust our schedule slightly, we found him very accommodating. He also worked with us to arrange for the best times for us to take certain pictures with our families. He and his assistant both showed up at our homes slightly early to set up. They were very easy to work with, even though, as one would expect, we were behind schedule. They helped us both get all the shots we wanted, and we made it to the church with time to spare. Chris works very, very hard! He and his assistant took literally Thousands of pictures of us and our wedding! They made each shot quick and painless for us, but I could see how meticulously he planned, set up and executed each and every shot. He was masterful at getting us to smile and look at the best angle for great shots. My wife and I were again at ease, because it was so obvious to us that Chris knew exactly what he was doing. They also went out of the way to find opportunities to take great pictures; Chris has a gift of anticipating our desires and creating and capturing moments that remain special to us now. Chris and his assistant were also masterful at working with our families and friends to take great pictures, both planned and candid. I can't express how excited my wife and I were when we saw the final product! Every shot looks amazing! As I'm typing this review, she is smiling as she looks at the album on her computer. Our family and friends agree Chris captured everything from our special day with masterful style. The 5 Stars is not hype! We most highly recommend Chris Seid Photography for your event! read more

We were recommended to Chris by our wedding planner and it was the best recommendation she could give! We took a look at his website and saw the amazing photos he took of past weddings and made up our minds quickly to book him. Due to my husband's and I's busy schedule, we were not able to meet with Chris in person beforehand to become familiar with the way he took photographs, but he was always available via email, text, or phone to answer any question and ease any of our concerns. On the day of our wedding, Chris showed up with an assistant and was very professional and courteous. He understood how stressful the day of the wedding and made us feel very comfortable and relax and at the same time was able to capture all of the moments of the entire day. We were very impressed on how he wanted to take photos of every little detail to nail the entire eventful day from the venue, to the decor, and to the emotions of our guests. Chris and his team are very talented, funny, and very easy going. My wife and I are very glad to have chosen Chris to capture our entire day through photos where we can cherish them forever! We are also very satisfied with the product he has given us and the professionalism he has shown to us. Highly recommend Chris to be your wedding photographer! read more

My now-husband and I spent hours pouring over photographer portfolios before finally going with Chris. We took so long because I'm incredibly picky, and my husband, who used to be a professional photographer himself, is even more picky. We wanted someone who really knew how to take pictures--someone who didn't rely on the beauty and happiness of the bride and groom, and who didn't rely on cutesy filters that mimic instagram. We saw Chris' portfolio and couldn't be more excited. Chris' pictures are beautiful. He has a wonderful eye for the right shot and is able to capture the perfect light. More than that, I feel like his pictures are timeless--they don't rely on dated trends. In addition to taking great pictures, Chris was fun and easy to work with. When we first reached out to him, he was in London, but got back to us quickly and even set up a Skype date so that we could virtually meet. He was always prompt in his emails and on-time the day-of. He and his assistant coordinated everything perfectly so that he was with me in Santa Monica, as I was getting ready, and his assistant was with my husband in Topanga Canyon. They both also were willing to stay an extra two hours, when we decided that we just wanted to party to keep going. He made me feel comfortable throughout the process, which is HUGE! Usually, I'm super anxious and end up looking worried in pictures. I feel like Chris was able to capture how I really am. When we finally got the pictures, they were perfect. And because he was a week later than he had originally expected in sending them he included several already printed and framed. Highly highly recommended!!! read more

My favorite wedding vendor, hands down. Chris. Is. Amazing. We had him take our engagement and wedding photos, and each time they came out absolutely perfect. We couldn't be more in love with the finished products. Working with him is so easy, and he is always in a TERRIFIC mood. He is so patient, even when my husband and I started to get tired. He makes taking the pictures so fun! I wish we could have him photograph all our life events! read more

Chris Seid photographed our wedding in August 2019, and we are completely in love with our wedding photos! Chris and his lovely assistant took so many hundreds of stunning shots, that we are having the toughest time choosing which ones to frame. Chris was such a genuinely friendly person and skilled photographer, that he was able to configure amazing group shots of our giant wedding party, and capture so many great candids and group shots of our guests. We are in love with every stage of our photographed day, from getting ready shots, to our first-look at Pasadena City Hall, to the ceremony itself and all of the wedding party and family shots. Chris's work is a great value - one of our biggest priorities for our wedding was photography, because we knew the photos would last forever long after the wedding day has passed, and we are so so so glad that we made this decision and hired such a talented photographer. We get such joy out of looking through hundreds of frame-worthy pictures and can't wait to start decorating our walls with them. read more

Chris was professional and was early to our events. He was our photographer for both engagement and wedding. My wife and I felt very comfortable throughout both events. He is very friendly and easy going. He customized a package that met our need. He stayed over the time we book him to capture our beautiful last moments of our wedding. I would recommend him for your event photographer. read more

I first met Chris when he was the photographer at my cousin's wedding a few years ago. He was courteous, professional, and as a plus, he spoke Cantonese which helped get the relatives in place. My cousin's wedding photos came out great! I knew from that moment that I would want him as my own wedding photographer. So when I got engaged, I had my wedding coordinator reach out to Chris right away. He was so reasonable with our budget and our requests for modifications of the packages. We booked him for the photography and photobooth. On the day of the wedding, Chris and his assistant were on time and he made me feel so at ease even though I was pretty stressed coming up to the wedding. He worked with my Chinese speaking parents and pose them wonderfully. It truly helps that he was able to communicate with them and other relatives. My husband and I are not very natural in front of the camera and we always find it awkward but with Chris, he made us feel at ease and he told us what looked good and what didn't. Chris also stayed the entire time at the wedding and asked us if we wanted any other shots at the end. He didn't need to do that there was an agreed time on the contract but I'm so glad he stayed to capture some candid shots of the dancing. Also, he helped out at the photobooth and even extended the hours for all our guests. When we got the pictures, we loved every single one!!! We couldn't stop looking at them. It was worth every penny!!!! Now another friend who is about to get married also booked Chris. Don't procrastinate as he's very popular and I recommend booking as soon as you can! read more

We made the best choice to book Chris as our wedding photographer for our fall wedding last year. Before we met Chris, we had contacted a few other photographers who had let us down with either being too unavailable, out of our budget, and/or unprofessional. From the moment we contacted Chris via email, he was prompt and straightforward. It was such a breeze working with Chris, because he was professional, prompt, willing to work with our style, easy going, and most importantly made us feel super comfortable on camera. Both our engagement shots and wedding photos came out so beautifully, because Chris was able to make us feel comfortable and capture our true selves, just better lol. I love that Chris can really change up his style for you, as opposed to other photographers out there who go with the same "signature" shots over and over. We asked him for a light, romantic feel in our photos, and he was able to capture just that! I would easily say that Chris was the best vendor to work with during our chaotic wedding planning year, because he was a no frills, straightforward photographer with years of experience so we knew we were in good hands. Thanks Chris, for being the best photographer ever! read more

See all

I worked with Chris this past weekend at Kristie and Matt's Wedding at the Coyote Hills Golf Course in Fullerton. Him and his team were ON IT! I could see that the clients were very well taken care. They were always on point and on time throughout the day. Sometimes I would peak over his shoulder to see the shots he was taking and they were coming out beautifully even without post production. In the reception, he set up a few off camera lights that lit up the room. I'm a Photographer myself so I can see the variety of angles he was taking - not only of the Bride and Groom, which there were many, but of clients reactions, and friends and family who lined up to take their photos with the couple. Talking with Chris, I can tell that he is a very genuine and caring dude. He treated everyone with respect. I definitely recommend this guy as a lead Photographer for your Wedding! Can't wait to see the shots man! read more

We were so thoroughly impressed with Chris and his team! When we first met with Chris for our engagement photos, he was so positive and easy to work with. He truly knows his stuff- he tells you exactly how to stand, what pose to do, etc. He makes it very easy and fun. He got us our photos back in a timely manner and delivered such good quality work that we were thrilled to work with him again for our wedding. When we worked with Chris again on our wedding day, not only were we so impressed, but we heard from our families how much they enjoyed working with him and how professional and positive he was. The photos turned out beautifully- and he took a great variety of photos and made it fun for us in the process. I cannot recommend him or his team more highly. read more
