I'm a mid-40's man, am incredibly picky about my stylists, and this one takes the cake. The attention to detail stands out, but more so her ability to move in the dark. She was able to do this while nursing a deep cut that just happened. Sangfroid, if one will allow the application.

I'll be honest, I came here after I found out that my regular barber wasn't open (I'm not a cheater) and I honestly wasn't a huge fan of Rust Belt. Two coworkers recommended this spot, so I thought I would check it out. I called ahead (as you should) and they had one appointment left on a Friday before I had to head out to a conference. Upon walking in, I was greeted with smiling faces and incredibly approachable staff. I checked out the board and noticed one of their first rules- no phone on the chair. I honestly appreciated the dedication to good conversation and a friendly environment. David, the ringleader as it seemed, offered me a whiskey beverage. I opted for an old fashion, and my man knows how to make a fine beverage. Once I sat in the chair, I was transparent and explained that I'm not too complicated, but needed a tight fade with a cut on top that doesn't show off my widow's peak. I did ask if they would recommend anything else, and this is where they won. I asked Rust Belt about this a while back and they explained a bunch of different styles that my hair couldn't actually do. This place however, was real and transparent. They explained the limited options I had (which I was cool with) and said what would honestly be the best move. I appreciated it, enjoyed the very careful cut, had some laughs about music and buffalo, and walked out real happy.
