The facility is clean and sanitized with the attention of detail that has resulted in the best environment for our children. The food options are excellent and provide a balanced meal to keep our little ones fed and nourished. Issues or concerns that were communicated by myself to the staff were respectfully discussed and addressed in a timely manner. The events and activities that are sponsored by the academy are great team building opportunities for the parents and staff. I was very iffy at the beginning (my baby being my first born) because she had previously been cared for by family. The most amazing teacher is Ms. Maureen and that's what sparked me to put my daughter in. (Not just because she is a co worker am I comfortable with everybody). She loves to communicate anything going on to the parents and is amazing with the kids. My daughter now loves to go with her in the mornings and when its one of those rough days she doesn't want to leave my side, I know if she is with her "momo", she was fine after I left. Being at the center has taught Kimberly how to interact better with other children (again, since she is an only child), learning to read and write, color and draw, more creativity than ever and to be nice to her friends and share. I also feel they are very open with the kids and explain when something is wrong, why it is and how we can better it. When potential parents step into La Petite, they will notice a warm and inviting atmosphere. Each of the classrooms is arranged for a different age group, with its size and atmosphere designed to help and encourage a child's development. Each room has appropriate teacher to student ratios and the kids have a overall consistently of seeing the same teachers usually unless someone is out sick or off. I would put that their district manager was great in finding a flexible rate for our unique shift work schedules. However a few things must be highlighted that were disturbing. Each child receives a box to put spare clothes, creams etc. I once picked up my child, with other kids dirty laundry in her box. When I asked the staff members whose it was, they responded to just leave it in the corner. They obviously changed the child to who the clothes belonged to. Yet they seemed to be very half hazard in their care of whose clothes, where it should go and overall positive control. Another incident occurred when I picked up my child and she smelled of cigarettes, albeit lightly. I in no way believe that someone was smoking with my child, but it was apparent that the staff member had a cigarette and when finished proceeded to hold my child, therefore causing the smell on her clothes. LASTLY AND MOST DISTURBING They use and application called "Precious Status" in which the faculty members update you child's naps, feedings, etc. We received five status updates of my child's routine one morning, yet our kid was NOT at school. The teachers select the child's name not the parents, so it is apparent that the staff member was repeatedly and deliberately choosing my child's name to update another baby. That lack of attention to detail in baby identification seems particularly disturbing .

We feel involved in her school life, from the pictures and updates in the app, to the art she brings home, to the new songs she sings when she comes home. At dropoff and pickup, her teachers make time to provide updates, answer questions, and address concerns. They've all been great. We could go on and on about Lily Pads. The teachers kept our little one thoroughly engaged with arts, story time, and various other activities to encourage socialization and developmental milestones. I always felt that our little one was in good hands. The teachers that he had in both the infant and toddler rooms were phenomenal. They have been instrumental in helping our little reach developmental milestones (for example walking, using utensils to eat, holding a pencil, etc.). We were able to see our little one throughout the day using the provided app. Our little one really enjoyed the yoga instruction days. Our little one always had a smile when entering into Lily Pads. Our daughter went to Childtime between ages 3 and 10 months; we only switched to another daycare…read morebecause a spot opened up in another center right by our condo that is unbelievably convenient for us. Anyway, we did love the infant care at Childtime while we were there, and the toddler and pre-school care looked very caring and enriching too. We'd have stayed at Childtime until our daughter started at kindergarten if a spot hadn't opened up at the one place we were willing to switch to. The Childtime teachers were great, not too much turnover, and gave us lots of helpful advice about child development and discipline and taking care of our daughter. We actually still stay in touch with one of her old teachers, who lives near-ish to our condo. Love the updates and pictures Childtime used to send us, which I all saved and will always cherish (got a picture of the first time our daughter stood up in her crib, for instance). Our daughter also transitioned very well to the daycare we switched to, and her new teachers and my wife and I attribute that to how good Childtime is, actually--all the many good, caring teachers she met there made her well-prepared and less anxious about dealing with new people, so that she could transition well to a new center. The one thing that drove me nuts about Childtime was the stroller closet, but since we actually took our daughter back to Childtime as a drop-in a few times after she left full-time on a few days when our new daycare was closed for in-service or holidays, we found they actually made the stroller closet much better--they put hooks in the closet for smaller strollers to be hung-up on, which created more space and organization. Used to be so cramped and disorganized with so many strollers in there, often not placed with full consideration for others... but the Center actually fixed that. Always did love the free espresso from the Nespresso machine in the lobby of this office building, too, and chatting with the security guards ;) Such fond memories of this place.
