On entering for a lunch, the place looked not busy with a few tables taken. It was a Saturday around 12:30pm or so, the staff didn't seem that happy to see a customer. She just pointed to a seat and didn't say anything and dropped a menu on the table. From there she stood a couple meters away and stared into the distance, after looking at the menu for 5 minutes and about to decide on what to order, she walked off and started talking to one of the chefs, it seemed like a social chat because they were laughing and joking about. That's fine in most cases a bit of jokes at work but it didn't stop for another few minutes and I was looking at her to get her attention and she kept on looking away trying to not make eye contact. At this time, a family of 4 walked in and they got the same treatment I got when I first walked in. The wife of the family seemed to say something to her husband when they sat down near me. Anyway about me trying to order, still no contact as the waiter went back to the chef for more jokes and laughs. At this point I was becoming hungry and little annoyed of lack of service so I got up to leave, on doing so the waiter saw this and started to approach me.
