The site of Choklits Child Care Centre was originally an old homestead which has now been converted into an Early Learning Centre boasting one of the biggest outdoor natural playgrounds in Melbourne. Choklits operates 52 weeks of the year, catering for children 0-5 years old and runs a government funded kindergarten program. The centre was named 'Choklits' due to the close proximity to the Cadbury Chocolate's factory up the road. The 51-place centre is a cozy, intimate home-away-from-home environment owned and operated by Jade Ingleby. Jade and her management team, consisting of early childhood educators, two bachelor qualified kindergarten teachers and a Director, operate the centre.
