Natalina is a very welcoming, friendly lady with lots of great tips (even for seasoned cooks!) and stories stories of her travels etc. She shared 3 recipes for focaccia, no knead ciabatta and a sweet no knead ciabatta with dried figs and cinnamon. The whole class got involved and we also had a lovely salad and we made pannini's with grilled chicken, basil pesto and provolone...lovely!!! Next, i was curious too see what was left from Rainbow Mall...a few things were, glass elevator, and original stars. I was impressed that the rice was steaming hot when I unwrapped the leaf, yet the lechon skin remained crunchy! The lechon meat was extremely tender. I think it's value for money ($15) given how high quality the meat was. The portion was just right for me, but for people who have a bigger appetite, it might not filling enough. My only complaint is that they were blasting the music a bit too loud in the enclosed eat-im area just for their stall.

I enjoyed Kibo Sushi House, Uncle Tetsu's Shop (the cheese tart was so good), and Hale Coffee. A quick perusal of their many offerings led me directly to their Tortoise, so I went with the milk chocolate version and it was fantastic. I've always been a fan of turtles (who isn't, really?) and this was absolutely one of the best versions I've ever had. The chocolate was delectable and the pecans and caramel inside was just as good. I'm almost glad that Chocolat on James is so far away from my apartment, because I could see myself eating those Tortoises on a daily basis.
