It's weird to review banks in the first place, but Third Federal has amazing products and fantastic staff. Earlier today I spoke with Kathleen in the Medina branch and she has bent over backwards to help me with one of their products. My current mortgage was through a brokerage local to me, but if I was choosing, Third Federal has unbelievable rates on mortgages and related products. Mainly, I find that interacting with banks can be stressful and intimidating. Kathleen and Third Federal do not feel that way, they feel more like an old-fashioned local bank. I highly recommend their service and their competitive rates.

Rates have come down quite a bit since then so I was able to lower my rate by over .5 % and save over $50/ month on my payment. And it only cost me me $95 to relock my rate because they were running a promotion. Normally they would have charged me $295 to relock, which is what I expected. So when they told me it was $95, I couldn't believe it. What a great bank!! Even better than the credit union I normally work with!
