She is easy to work with, communicative and reliable and she keeps the pace moving and the shots very natural, yet somehow when they come out we all look better than in real life! She has young kids and totally gets their limited attention span and inability to sit still but still captures artistic, memorable, gorgeous shots. Whenever we have sent out holiday cars with one of her photos, I get tons of compliments and people asking for her information. Almost every picture she took for us feels like it should be in a frame! If you are looking for original, high quality artistic photos, there really is no one better..

My whole firm ended up using her for their headshots, and everyone was insanely pleased, as was I. Her heart and soul come through in her work. So the first step was for me to find a photographer who could take a flattering set of pictures for the baby. I had no experience hiring a personal photographer and searching on the internet was hectic. However I was lucky enough to find Keren. I had great impression of her website, which was clean, precise and had a good taste. And I believed that had represented her aesthetics and sensitivity to beauty. I was right. Keren takes flattering photos that accentuate good features. Keren was very easy to work with. She was flexible, patient and friendly. Neither my husband nor I had much idea in terms of what to prepare for a photo session and Keren was able to provide props and outfits that our girl needed. She was very willing to work with our one year old who was extremely fidgety and restless. The pricing was reasonable too. A lot of other photographers in the area were asking much more, and some of them weren't even willing to touch up more than three photos. In short I would work with Keren again. She does great work and is a lovely person. Recommend.

I am so glad we decided to invest in these photos with Keren because they came out so wonderfully. I love seeing my bump now but I know I will treasure these photos forever after our baby is born. My husband and I had such a great time shooting with Keren, she makes you feel so relaxed and natural. She also has a gift for making pregnant women look beautiful!

I didn't care for an album. I didn't need 10 different outfits. I just wanted some photos with my son's Korean and Chinese outfits, a bathtub scene, and a family studio photo. The price was very reasonable (I think I paid $500 2 years ago) and I got 2 sessions, some prints and enlargement, and CD. My son probably changed about 6-7 times in the 2 sessions. The pictures were satisfactory. They even let me take some photos with my camera. They gave me full size CD with all the pictures even though that's usually not the case. Negatives: It was only the photographer and me so I had to do most of the entertainment. And not too much natural light so most pictures were with flash. Little diversity in accessories.

Karen was the consummate professional at my wedding. She arrived early for every appointment prior…read moreto our wedding was super early the day of the wedding. When I asked her how she felt about shooting a bunch of midwesterners mixed with Cubans, Sicilians and a bunch of women who would micro-manage her, she simply replied "I can herd cats." And that my friends, she did. To give an example of how amazing she was - right in the middle of our group shots, the youngest relative burst into tears. I don't know what happened but Karen pulled the little girl aside away from everyone, whispered in her ear and the little one wiped away her tears, started to smile and got right back in the group shot. Some of my favorite photos are of my aunt with Parkinson's who got up out of her wheel chair to dance with my uncle - they've been married 50+ years - the photo is priceless to me. Our families were all over the place - bossy & laughing and definitely not paying attention - Karen and her lovely husband took beautiful candid shots of two crazy families. Did I mention how personable she was? Quick? YES. Dependable? YES. Approachable? YES. Professional? YES. Whip Smart? YES. And here's one for the books --- we didn't know it but Karen was 5+months pregnant while shooting our wedding and never complained once about being tired. THUMBS WAY UP! Please contact me if you have any questions, I'd be happy to discuss our entire process. Thank you Karen, you rock!
