We found IRMA, and purchased a large apple pastry to share for breakfast. The man at the counter (I think the owner) was kind and patient, providing guidance in very good English. It was so good, we went back and bought 3 types of bread rolls to have with our dinner. LOCATION: After entering the Hala Targowa market main entrance, the bakery is located on the right-hand wall, about 1/3rd of the way down the length of the building. It is the only bakery in the market (that we saw).

I got a double espresso cappuccino -- perfectly milky as it is served in Poland. I tried the black currant and banana strudel with chocolate. The strudel was crisp not soggy from the fruit filling. The chocolate was fudgy and had the effect of magic shell used on ice cream. The fruit filling was very sweet and the banana well I don't think it was a banana. The moral of this review is yes they service was friendly and in English but things still got lost in translation. So when in Poland go with the flow and enjoy the strudel.

We went again the following morning as the coffee was so good. SERVICE: 5.0. The young man was quietly passionate about coffee and patiently explained his offerings and philosophy in good English. COFFEE: 5.0. He provided us two coffees he carefully crafted in front of us. Both were as described, and were excellent, and had plenty of caffeine. The second morning we had drip coffee - easily the best we had in Wroclaw. AMBIANCE: 5.0. A few seats available. Simple decor. Comfortable.
