OK, I'll admit... when I first found this place, I was worried it was an "Asian massage" type of…read moreplace. You know what I mean. I was walking into the house, which had Chinese decorations everywhere. Entry is through the back alley (sounds sketchy). I was walking in just as a gentleman was also walking in. Oh goodness. But I asked him if this was the place, and he said it was his first time also, so I thought "safety in numbers!" This is definitely a traditional Chinese massage place - my masseuse could barely speak English, but thankfully I can speak a tiny bit of Chinese, so it worked out great. While the ambience isn't ideal (e.g., sketchy, not spa like), the deep pressure and reflexology was great. So, don't be too scared of the outside appearance, go with a friend, and overall, it was worth the back beatup massage (the way I like it!).

My boyfriend and I are clients of Debra's. She's certified (very important because they can hurt…read moreyou), knowledgeable, professional, and warm. She gets to know you and your body with each visit, she remembers your problem areas, asks what you would like done, make suggestions, allots time for more, if necessary and fixes your problem area(s). She also gives you explanations for how you hurt yourself, ways to prevent it, or minimize it. She will also give you recommendations on other massage therapists in the surrounding area, if she is on vacation. After speaking to some of them, I decided to wait until she got back from vacation. Her prices are incredibly reasonable for someone of her caliber. I highly recommend her.

I've had about 5 appointments with Feather now, and I'm very happy to say that I'll be continuing to go to her for massages, cupping, reiki, and more. I even bought my mom a gift card. Also, FYI, don't assume from the name that she can't absolutely drive out those stubborn devils from deep within your tissue. SHE. BE. STRONG.

She understands that each person is an individual and what works for one may not for another and so she asks about pressure and how it is feeling during your session. Imagine my surprise when the tan was applied per human with an air brush. This young gal (sorry I forgot her name) was professional, fussy and educational. She actually gave me tips on how to make the tan last. I left Logansport and never looked back thirty some years ago but the service I received was comparable to Nashville, Chicago or Indianapolis. Due to a neurological disease I was wobbly and almost falling over during my treatment but I was given nothing but patience and professionalism to make sure I walked out glowing. I felt like a million with my beautiful tan. As a side note another reviewer complained because a child was not greeted and basically watched by staff. If I'm spending a day at a salon I do not want to hear children whine and demand attention. Cheers, to them for the unspoken no child policy. Yes, I will be returning later this month for a hair processing.

I have been going to see Aimee T for several years, and I highly recommend pretty much any service…read moreshe offers. My favorite was the deep tissue massage, but I tried the essential therapeutic touch massage yesterday, and that was AWESOME, too. Aimee really listens and then delivers services guaranteed to leave you relaxed and feeling better than when you came in. Her location is extremely clean, to the point that she really didn't have to make very many changes when COVID hit (because her between-client cleanliness standards are already super thorough). The only downside is that she is typically booked solid, so it can be tough to get in quickly. I consider that a good thing, because this means lots of other people also love her services as much as I do. I have started to book 3 appointments at a time so that I get the frequency and time slots that I want.
