Imagine having a massage in the privacy of a luxury cabin's deck nestled in a forest with the birds serenading you and the sun sending its warming rays down. Decadent. Back in the City, it took me a while but I finally got my act together and booked not one but two sessions with Onyia. Its just what my stressed out, jacked up body needed! Onyia was able to help relieve some aches brought on by spending hours hunched over a computer at work as well as melt away some tension from everyday life's stress. I got to the point where it hurt to hold a fork. It literally hurt to feed myself and it was impossible to do any tasks. I happened to chose Traci out of a limited worker's comp list and I am SO grateful for it. She is truly an amazing human being with so much knowledge. But I was so desperate for any bit of relief that I finally booked an appointment. I walked out of my first appointment with Kate with no to low neck pain. It was promising, but I was cautious. Throughout that week, I found that my pain levels stayed consistently low, whereas with other treatments and therapies, I would've been back in a full-blown flare-up by the end of the day or the next day at best. I hit 4-5 days before the tension, pain, and headaches returned -- a new record! Even though flare-ups still take weeks to correct, the trend is that overall pain is going down. It's given me hope that the rest of my body can get out of pain too. Kate is very experienced and understands how interconnected everything in your body is; she's been able to identify locked-up areas without my having to explicitly ask about it.
