Sunny is great and has always been helpful. She has a great bedside manner, takes the time to understand the issue and works to resolve it as quickly as possible. BUT, today was frustrating due to poor office communication. I called today and scheduled an appointment for 4pm through AI on phone, as there's no option to speak with a human. Was running a few min behind so I called back, but still couldn't get a human. Told the bot I was running late due to accident and was told it would alert the office that I was running behind. Showed up at 4:07 and the building is locked up tight with lights out. Yelp says they're open until 6pm as does their website. The bot is scheduling appointments, but the office is closed. Not sure what's going on, but this is frustrating as I wasted an hour in traffic and still have a headache. Update: I did get a text and call at 3:41pm, but didn't see them as I was already in route so my phone silenced them. read more

Dr. Lee was extremely rude and very blunt in his approach. From the beginning, he seemed unwilling to take our case and asked a lot of personal questions that felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. He also insisted that we would have to pay a remaining balance, even after we explained that everything should be covered under an insurance claim. That added even more frustration to an already stressful situation. Overall, the communication was poor and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place, especially based on how we were treated. I do want to acknowledge one staff member who stepped in to help us--he was understanding, respectful, and agreed that Dr. Lee's communication could be much better based on his experience working there. 0/10. I had severe back pain and the drop-in Chiropractic clinics weren't helping. I could barely get out of bed. I had never tried acupuncture and was a skeptic. Within a couple visits I had significant relief. A couple weeks into treatment I feel transformed. The needles didn't hurt but some are like a mild electric shock at application. I got over the fear and am so grateful to Dr Lee and his awesome staff for my new life. I move freely, lift things I couldn't before and importantly, I'm not afraid I'm going to hurt my back throughout my daily activities. If you are like I was, you know the prison of that fear. Dr Lee doesn't just "crack" and adjust. It seems more holistic. He used pressure points and almost a massage therapy in addition to traditional adjustments. Net, it is unlike any treatment I've had and the results are amazing. The place is always busy but very efficient. I show up on time and typically don't wait longer than 3-5 minutes to see Dr Lee. I get an adjustment, then acupuncture and a 10-15 minute rest with the needles inserted and a heat lamp on them. I'm in and out typically in 25 minutes. I recommend Dr Lee and his team. This facility is great! It's very clean and staff is kind. Color me impressed; I went in with a pinched nerve and am about 80% back to normal after 3 chiro/acupuncture visits. My only complaints: With it being eastern medicine, I think crystal bowls and yoga like music would be more relaxing than classical piano in the treatment rooms. Dr. Lee is great, but could communicate a little more . For instance, I would have liked to know that he would be leaving me to relax for the next 10 minutes or so as he steps out of the room instead of just peacing out without a word. But those are so minor as the proof is in the pudding and am ecstatic to have most of my mobility back with pain almost fully gone! read more

Just a bit of backstory: San Jose, CA 2004: Suffered a severe back injury (ligament) doing deadlifts at my high school. Received treatment from chiropractors, acupuncturists and physical therapists. They did all sorts of treatments - everything short of surgery. Treaments seemed to work temporarily but the pain never went away fully. Los Angeles, CA 2011: Got into a head-on collision going 45 mph. After the accident, back pain became severe, to the point where I had to go to see a chiropractor 4-5 times to get by. After 5 months of pretty much non-stop treaments, the pain subsided but lingered. Palisades Park, NJ 2013: Suffered another back injury at a local gym doing squats. Visited acupuncturists, chiropractors & my local physician for treatments. This time the pain would not go away and after catching the flu, became more severe. ------- I was recommended to Dr. Lee by a family friend who was a past patient of Dr. Lee. I went to Dr. Lee to help me control anxiety attacks I was having due to a herniated disk pressing on my sciatic nerve. I've lived with two herniated disks for 10 years and I'm somewhat used to the pain and discomfort, but this time the disk was pressing on the nerve causing sensations of tingling, burning or numbness that also triggered anxiety attacks. The first visit he asked me about the injury, what my main priorities/expectations were for the treatment, as well as x-rays and an acupuncture session. The whole process took about 2 hours but by the time I left the anxiety was gone and the sciatic pain was reduced considerably. His plan of treatment required visits 3 times a week for the first month. But after the results with the first appointment I had no problem finding the time to go. Within a week the sciatic pain and other sensations were gone and my back pain seriously reduced. When I went in the first time I couldn't seat and stand up in one movement, and after a week I was moving around without any pain as if I didn't have herniated disks at all. I have had a TBI (subdural hematoma) back in December of 2015 and I haven't been the same. My body started to brake down on me. After my injury I have lived with chronic migraines and neuropathy problems on daily basis. I have been seeing specialist after another trying to relieve my pain and nothing have worked. I was prescribed with multiple medications after another and almost killed myself on medication over dose back in December of 2016. I had a sever neck/shoulder pain and i did not know what was causing it. I thought i just needed a back massage or something. As time passed the pain has gotten worse. I went to the doctors to get it checked out. The doctor told me to get a MRI and results came back and they told me i have a neck disk. They gave me 3 choices, pills, injections, or surgery. Since I am diabetic, the doctor told me I can't take pills (steroid pills). He gave me painkiller medicine. I took cyclobenzaprine 10 mg once a day (sleeping pills) and another one called nabumetone 750 mg (kind of ibuprofen 2x a day). I wasn't sure about injections and surgery. So I was recommended by friends by Dr. Lee. I talked to him on the phone about what's going on. He told me not to get injection and never get surgery. He said he can fix my disk without injection but by using his methods of chiro & acupuncture combined. I did some research and I found that there were reviews on Yelp for Dr. Lee. I was very pleased of what was the outcome for other patients, so I flew down from Maryland all the way down to Texas. I arrived there at the treatment center and was only there for a week. Dr. Lee asked me to come about 3x a day to be treated. The second day that i went which was my fourth treatment I didn't need to take the pills prescribed by my doctor because the pain was going away. It was AMAZING. He aligned my bones back in place and asked me to move around a lot to see if I was still in pain. He was seeing if it hurt in other places and just to get comfortable with it. I never thought this pain could go away in just one week ! Dr. Lee also helped me exercise and eat right to become more healthy.
