As such, with the involvement of the Police and my insurer, I have fortunately been in the position to get the work fixed at zero cost to myself... Step-in Lancashire Motor Bodies, saviour of the hour and supplier of some of the best customer service I have ever had the pleasure of receiving. True, I didn't have to shop around as they are the preferred repairer of my insurer, but I have to say that I was a little sceptical on first researching them as there were only a couple of aged reviews on the web (not on Yelp, obviously!) and these weren't exactly glowing. Well, my experience was different. On finding them, tucked away as they are in Salford, but only 30 seconds off Bury New Road, you could be mislead by the exterior of the business premises, as it isn't exactly glamorous, but then again, it is a car bodywork repairer! However, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They lead me through the whole process with my insurer, collected my car and delivered a courtesy car which was mine free of charge, phoned me regularly with updates on the work and again when it was finished. They even returned my car, resplendent with new front wing, fully valeted inside and out. I couldn't recommend them highly enough and think they are well worth every one of the 5 stars I'm giving them. I hope you don't require their services, but if you do, they'll look after you (and your car!).

The service was outstanding, excellent job my car went in Wednesday afternoon & was back with me by Friday afternoon, the panel that had been scraped badly looked as smooth, shiny & new as when I first bought the car. Better still they fitted my bumper/splitter wrong and bent my numberplate holder. The owner lied about everything telling me the job was done and when I turned up I had to stand around over 5 hours only to have him tell me, "Shit happens" The guys that work for him are good staff. They do what's required but I know they are in on the little pointless lies. Caught him out lieing on several occasions only to have him walk away avoiding me, sick of it. We've absolutely no complaints at all: the place was fairly easy to find and there was ample parking on the road by the garage; the service was very friendly and efficient (doubtless they were keen to retain the insurance company's business); and the job that they did was very satisfactory. Given that the insurance company paid, I'm afraid I cannot comment on their prices. Obviously we would hope not to have to use such a place again, but if we did have to we would certainly consider using these good people.
