First, they did not have a personal banker on duty who could help (I had to schedule an appointment for the next day), but I was told they couldn't issue a cashier's check for 5 days even though we had the proceeds check from the sale of our house. I thought a local bank in a small town would be more helpful. Oh well, their loss and our gain as we found another bank that was more than willing to help.
