It used to mean hanging out with people in my family that made me upset or uncomfortable but its definitely evolved for me. My mom got a membership a few years ago and we've been really taking advantage of its convienance. The food here is always presented well and superb. I'm addicted to their greek salad with hot bacon dressing and their sauteed spinach *OMG!!* They are also very helpful for all your event planning needs. They have VERY affordable rates, which most people don't expect I guess, for really nice quaility of services. They have several different sizes of rooms, all of which have a decent level of class that is hard to find at any of the other banquet halls in Kokomo (one perk is that the sewage treatment plant is NOT across the street. LOLLLL). The pool and poolside services are awesome. I usually try to go by the pool and have a margarita and a greek salad as much as possible in the summer. They have a nice locker room to get ready in, as many as you need towels, free sunscreen, and lots of water toys. Very stress free. They also have a baby pool that few use but its great to sunbathe and stay cool...the reflective water also greatly improves you tan. :)

I NEVER received any confirmation text or call that it would be holiday rates when I made the tee times. Oh, except after I first got there and told this verbally, I magically received a text at 7:42 that it would be holiday rates! I asked about any kind of discount or break on the price and was told emphatically nothing they could do! And I called other golf courses around and no one else seems to be charging holiday rates. Too bad it's private and thus only open to members. It's a Pete Dye course, so from a player/spectator perspective, it's a golfer's paradise. I was astounded by the size of the course and beauty of it - hole #18 is quite a looker, as is the recognizable #6 with the red covered bridge. The BMW Championship was well executed despite the wacky weather that week. I was able to park in a field a few miles away and ride a shuttle to the course and quickly caught one back when I was ready to leave. The course was breathtaking in the crisp white and black BMW colors, but what else do you expect when BMW is the title sponsor? Crossing my fingers the tournament returns in 2020 so we can experience it again.

The course was always in great shape - bunkers raked, greens cut evenly, divots filled, etc. This is a very private course, and you need to be with a member to play. Fortunately, they have a prestigious caddie program that offers members a chance to play quickly, and vast community involvement for kids to learn lifelong skills. The members are overall very inviting, and the staff is very helpful - not only in the pro shop, but in the whole (beautiful) clubhouse itself. If you have any chance to play, I highly recommend!
