I have read some mixed reviews about this location on various websites but never had tried Chipotle when in Florida...so after trail blazing for 4 miles on foot from Warm Mineral Springs, and before doing the same back to my rental place, I wanted to reward myself with a quality meal. LET ME TELL YOU! I don't know who's doing the cooking at this location but every veggie condiment that I selected for my dinner bowl which I enjoyed at their amazing patio, was like THE FRESHEST I have ever had. This location made me realize that I can't be eating at the locations back in my home state because they just don't have the right crew to train to prepare the food and switch it out on the line for incoming new customers and regulars like this location does....also, I was going to get another bowl built the exact same way but maybe just add on a meat protein, luckily the portioning was on point, by my last bite, I wasn't stuffed but full just the right way. I would suggest picking up some (Sunberry Farms Brand juice at the Wynn Dixie if you're planning to stop by there before or after you stop by here, I got the Maracuya juice and over some ice, it was just what I needed. Also I just want to say that I have NEVER seen this at ANY other chipotle store, the meat was actually matching the in store ads, like it wasn't burned looking or slightly burned, it was like the grill master knew what she was doing from start to finish. Very thankful to the team at this store for the experience, I'll be back again and again and I'm bringing friends, because this has got to be witnessed. YUM! The bowls are very tasty. Most of the time they are filled well, but not always. The meats are not bad. Steak can be a little tough and chewy at times, but not the worst. Could use more flavor. Atmosphere is just ok. When they are busy, it feels like you're practically sitting on top of those waiting in line. It's tight seating. Not the most comfortable seating area, as everyone's on top of everyone eating. I take my food and eat in my car and watch a movie I got tacos for the very first time recently and I was not thrilled. They were so cheap with how much meat each one had. If all you're getting are tacos as your meal, at least fill them. They literally dropped a table spoon of rice and corn on them. Some cheese and a TON of lettuce. They always use more lettuce as a filler. I'm not all that fond of lettuce tacos. They really need to make better tacos. Well, at least my tacos were not good. Maybe a tiny more meat so you can taste it over all the lettuce. It was a hand full for each taco. I'll still go, but I may stick with the bowls. Tacos are just not worth it for each. I should also mention. The staff are some real grouchy people. When u tell then what you want, it's as if you are annoying then. I've had a couple pleasant people ring up my food, but most can't even say hello and smile. Is it that bad to work there? At least fake it please for the customers. read more

Yesterday a large group (9) of us left an event and we were very hungry. We found this chipotle. Luckily we had not looked it up bc we may have avoided it with the 2 star reviews. I could tell immediately that the service was going to be good and fast. Lots of people working hard and empty food bins being switched out quickly. We all got our bowls and burritos within minutes and were eating at their large high top table. We all enjoyed the food. Great job to all the employees working hard to make things well! The worst chipotle ive ever been to. I've been to a lot of chipotles and this was by far the worst experience. I've gone here a few times and never learn my lesson. They ALWAYS are sooo stingey with the portions. Not to mention I'm literally rushed with no one behind me. They had to keep going back because I wasn't done with the meat section. Asked for double meat, they gave me what would be considered a single portion giving me half a scoop of meat. Literally shaking the spoon to give me the bare minimum. But last night was my last straw and last time going there. There's a bunch of workers, and the entire time they are speaking Spanish. They give the worst attitude, and act like every little scoop comes out of their paycheck. I was rushed and i also got queso on my burrito and they only put a few drops on there and I even asked if I could just have a little bit more, and she cut me off and said u want double? It's extra. Stingy, disgusting staff. I'll be driving an extra 10 minutes to the other chipotle from now on. Never had to ask for extra anything at any other chipotle. They have horrible ratings for a reason. Gosh something terrible must be happening at this chipotle. Be warned. This was by far my worst meal at this location yet- we ordered a bowl, a burrito and two chips with guac. Ordered on my app and did pick up. We were given NO chips, the guac tasted ROTTEN- like it was made with rotten avocados- (shocked because some how chipotle always had amazing guac) - seriously tasted so rotten couldn't eat it. And with what chips , none. My steak had huge pieces of fat in it and my bowl was yes not very full. They even included the huge Base of the romaine lettuce- the part you cut off and throw away in my bowl. The burrito looked to be about half its normal size and my extra tortilla on the side was all dried out such that when I picked it up the edges broke off. I immediately called the store but you can't get a live person. So I had to give feedback on the app which just offered me replacement meals but this meal was so terrible it should be refunded. Seriously corporate this location is failing majorly and needs help bad. I would like a refund not just coupons for another future terrible meal. What an utter disappointment - chipotle your breaking my heart! This is the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. Ever. This is the fourth time I have gotten food here. My son's band did fund raisers here this past year and now I know why they never have a good turnout. The food is always disgusting. I just ordered another large order for my family and I will not be back here. Consistently the chips are stale and chewy, the meat is dry (steak, pork, chicken), the rice has hard bits in it, and the bowls are filled at 1/3 of the bowl. I ordered a fresh order today for my family of 5 and it literally looked and tasted like two day old. I picked the food at 12:30 and took 15 min to get home. The guacamole was brown by the time I got home. And I tip them too hoping they get my order better each time! It's like this over the span of a year. The one in PC is a little better. read more

I went to this location today, I placed an online order for two bowls, anytime I place an online order I go inside and order 4 honey vinegarette sauces for my bowls, today I was told i could only get two sauces which wouldn't be a big problem if they weren't filled less than a quarter of the way, and they also wouldn't allow me to buy extra sauce which I also wouldn't of had a problem doing, I've been able to get 6 sauces before at other locations without even paying and when they do say they can only give me two i offer to pay and they allow it. Well North Port Chipotle, you can't say I didn't try. I've given this particular location numerous chances and each time it just isn't great. I waited to write this review in hopes that my most recent order would be their saving grace, but unfortunately it didn't happen. Each order I have placed here has been through the mobile app (so the items and ingredients requested is spelled out on the order) and taken home for take out. In the times that I have ordered, I have received burritos instead of burrito bowls (they did remake them for me and acknowledge their mistake). I have not received the guacamole that I paid extra for on two occasions now. I have had hard and poorly cooked rice to where I couldn't even eat the meal. I have had an entree so doused in sour cream that I also could hardly even eat it. I have not received the cheese requested, which happened in my last order. I have also ordered a sofritas bowl and received steak (I don't eat steak) which I then ended up giving to my boyfriend. I just don't understand what the problem is. I love Chipotle so it's SO hard for me to write this, but this particular location just can't get it down. read more

They don't know how to make simple things on the menu we asked for new quesadilla meal and they made a burrito instead. Took 10 minutes for them to figure out how to make a burrito. It was my first time eating at this location since it opened a few months ago. I will say that it was not worth it. We ordered our food to go. There weren't many people when we walked in sitting down eating. There were two people working the front, taking care of customers when we got there. By the time we got to place our order, there was only one employee taking orders and the other counter person was socializing with an off hours employee in the front of the store. And the line had definitely formed behind us. At least 8 people were waiting. No one came to help this poor kid. Definitely poorly managed. The menu is simple and small. I love that they have a vegetarian option, sofrita, which is tofu. The prices are reasonable. I ordered the Sofrita bowl, which was packed. They definitely hook you up. It's pretty much an upscale Taco Bell. You get better quality steak and chicken for your tacos. You also get more food for your dollar here. The guacamole was yummy, and I loved the Sofrita. The veggie option isn't really something to write home about .... It was just onions and peppers. The food wasn't warm. We had to reheat it when we got home, which was only an 8 minute ride home. Would we return? Sure. The food was tasty and worth the price.
