The food was delish. The tables were dirty and needed to be wiped off. The server had an attitude (sorta... no eye contact or friendly connotation, kinda huffy) nice young lady at the front that rang me up. I recommend their "watermelon limeade", although it was a little sweet. Bathroom is absolutely gross . Toilet paper all over the wet floor. Was not clean. Would come back but wish they could do better read more

Love chipotle and have been a long time customer. Made a mobile order today that paid $35 and got this in return. Starting to loose my hope in this location. Need to get this straightened out read more

Close this Chipotle PERMANENTLY! Worst customer service in any industry known to mankind. A horde of "employees" standing at the register while the line is at the door. Everybody waiting to get their order taken. Every food has mixed with the other containers, absolutely disgusting mess behind the counter. Beyond waiting for god knows how long for that kind of food I walked out after seeing the horrific mess behind the counters. NEVER go here until they shut down forever! This was the final straw. read more

Place is always dirty. No ice in machine. Libertyville location is much cleaner and more well run

It's been a while since I had Chipotle (except for when I went a week ago), and this location was clean and bright. I thought the sofritos were great -- tasty and meatlike and slightly spicy -- and I had the option to add the vegs and guac -- so I thought it wasn't too bad. read more

Paid for my food and then was called back to pay $.55 for a side tortilla they forgot to charge. To add on, the tortilla had been left on the press so long it was crumbly and inedible. Super petty and unprofessional. Update: they refused refund the $.55 to resolve the issue!! thanks @Chipotle customer service! read more

I have never been treated more rudely in my life than I have in 10 seconds at this chipotle. I was nothing but nice and was treated with such disrespect, my sister was given dirty stares and not treated kindly. We came in with a happy attitude and paying customers and were treated like we don't belong there and were imposing on the workers. Food was good, but service was horrible. read more

Note to self and others: dont go here if youre hungry. The manager clearly cracks down on portion sizes and you get half of what other chipotles would easily give. Beans and rice are not that expensive yall. I dont even get meat (or guac) on my burritos. Also, i accidentally said salsa instead of "hot salsa" and instead of asking for clarification they put on normal salsa. They did offer to remake it, but the manager was staring us down. I didnt want to get the employee in trouble for wasting food, so i just went with it. But i was disappointed in the burrito because i do not like tomatoes. I dont blame the employee, i blame the higher ups for putting that level of pressure. read more

The restaurant is not consistent with its cleanliness, friendliness, or quality in food. It's a gamble, not knowing what you're going to get when going here. Being a local, I've given this location the benefit of a doubt, thinking that maybe it's an off day for this store. Sadly, that doesn't seem like the case. Hopefully, some adjustments can be made, and this store will get it together. For now, I'll go somewhere else. Service isn't consistent in friendliness or approachable. read more

I came to this location twice before and was not satisfied and really debated on whether or not I should chance it again today. I did, only because it was the closet location to my job and I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt - maybe I caught them on a bad day before. Well, I can say without a doubt now that I won't be back. I have been to so many other locations (my son lives off Chipotle) and as others have said, the portion size they give you are ridiculously small and in no way comparable to any other Chipotle. You literally have to ask for more because they act like they're paying for it out of their own pockets. Not to mention everyone on the food line looked annoyed and weren't engaging at all. read more

The female manager working on 10/18 at 12:13pm at the Lake Bluff location hung up on me when I asked for her name in order to file a complaint after she couldn't/wouldn't provide a resolution to a dispute I brought to her attention about about my order/transaction. She would not provide the general manager name either when asked if I could speak to someone above her on a matter I brought to her attention that she wasn't willing to handle. She is a poor manager and needs remedial training on customer service and problem-solving/resolutions. read more

Worst possible service imaginable 50 min to get a pick up order. When you ask to check the status they tell you to check the shelf. Then you wait in line and the line cook tells you to check with the ppl at the cash register that are already ignoring you. Have to yell at them to collect the food that you paid for online. Need to pay higher wages to attract a little bit better employees read more

Location is ok. Quality is inconsistent. Food is usually good when I go order in-person, but mobile pickup orders are always subpar. Tortillas always stale and crumble when order through the app. Food is decent, but you MUST go in and watch them make it. read more

Couldn't agree more with the reviews about this location. Not a single employee looked like they wanted to be there. No amount of please and thank yous could make any of them smile or be kinder. Just dry personalities. If you are having a bad day, leave it at the door, no need to let it out on your customers! I will simply be going to a different location from now on read more

Stale rice and 10 pieces of chicken in a double meat order. Worst experience I've ever had and when I said I had an order to pick up because the pick up shelf is not in plain sight I got one person rolling their eyes and another telling me where my food is with a massive attitude. read more

Trying to order from Chipotle Lake Bluff over the phone is a nightmare! An incomprehensible, complicated process... the one thing you can't do is just get on the phone and order. It is as though they spent a lot of time and effort to make sure the customer's inconvenience is maximized at every step of the way. Bottom line: don't bother. You can get good Mexican food elsewhere. Why go to a restaurant that makes sure ordering is a miserably complicated ordeal. read more

Yep. Things haven't changed. Ordered in person from here tonight. The chicken was dried and cold. Rice was again dried out. The prep and sales counter was an absolute mess and borderline unsanitary. Rudeness doesn't begin to describe it. Employees were in the cooking area swearing and using expletives. Shouldn't have thought things would change read more

Unfortunately not as good of an experience for our Celiac child as someone else mentioned. Staff was very rude and seemed extremely put off by our ask to change gloves after we came to the counter and the team member had her hands directly on the flour tortillas. She then reluctantly changed gloves, tearing the new ones in the process and then made a huge deal about having to change gloves once more. Proceeded to make a big show of being annoyed throughout the entire process of making the order. After getting the food, went to the bathroom and the toilet was overflowing (and not with clear water..). Any time we do a pick-up order it's a big pain, they don't have the pick-up shelf oriented facing the customers, they keep it by the register forcing the customers to cram into a little corner and get upset when you try and peek around to see if your order is one of the bags on the shelf (they keep the names / receipts facing inwards). Not sure why they can't do a standard pickup like the rest of the usual Chipotles. Finally, the quality of food her is just sub-par. Always feel like I get the bottom of the meat tray, just dry, or fatty or burnt meat portions. We now typically go to Vernon Hills which is much better run, and my family can actually tell the difference in pick-up orders, they don't even need to see the receipt to know if the food came from Lake Bluff or Vernon Hills. Unfortunate that this location is so poorly run, I'd love to support the local spot, but the way this store is run and the quality of service and food is just not something we can support. read more

Horrible customer service. No one acknowledged us when we walked in. The guy taking our order didn't say one word to us. When it came time to wrap the burrito it was a mess and he told my partner he couldn't wrap his, leaving it out on the counter for another random employee to finish. After a couple minutes and the worker moving onto the next person (with my partners burrito still out on the counter) we left. The food also looks old as hell. Brown lettuce and hard rice. Do *not* come to this location. read more

When you have celiac in the family, it is hard to eat out if near impossible. But we absolutely love coming to this chipotle. The moment we mention anything about gluten, the staff takes off their gloves washes their hands, and put on a fresh set of gloves. They know the drill to get fresh cheese and lettuce from the new containers in the back. We always feel taken care of and feel that it is very safe. This is definitely one of our go to places. Besides, who doesn't love chipotle? read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Food is great but the workers are so bitchy and theres this one girl with a nose ring who's always got attitude for some reason. I go out of my way to drive to other locations because they are so rude. do not come here read more

This location is awful. The past couple of times I've been there, the food in their hot bins has been dry and old. I've had to ask the staff to replace it with fresh food vs scraping the old stuff off the bottom of the bins. It's happened in the past but after a number of months I gave it another chance. Not worth ever trying it again. read more

do NOT eat at this chipotle bro. Would've enjoyed my meal a lot more if it wasn't for the food cuck of a manager that sat there staring at me while she gave me half a scoop of rice after I asked for double. Not only that but then she grunted at me. *scary right* only reason to go to this place is the delightful worker who was really chill and had originally taken the order read more

If I could give food service negative stars, I would for this location. The food isn't the issue, it's the employees who work here. Walking in I could immediately hear the music from the kitchen over the music in the lobby, which is a problem. Having to yell my order over the glass partition is something I did not enjoy. Even by yelling, the employee making my order had to ask me to repeat myself. Moving down the line, it's like the employees were told to salvage as much product as possible. Asking to have extra of every item I got should raise some flags (red ones). I didn't want extra, I just had to ask for more to get somewhat of a normal portion size. When it came time to check out, there was an older gentleman in front of me who asked for a military discount. The cashier looked confused at this request and turned to ask another employee, who was mid conversation. This second employee seemed annoyed she was interrupted and immediately stated "we don't have that", which is false. The lobby representatives the restaurant as well as the employees did. Dirty booths with food all over the tables and floors. Most customers walked past and ultimately left the establishment. I'd recommend some retraining of all employees and to have an actual manager present! read more

If I could give negative stars this one would be a winner, first off I walk in to this rachet ass music, like I walked into a club or something. Next I'm greeted by this big ass lady with a nose piercing. Which is fine to be big we have all been there, but it seems she cares a little too much on what other people are eating. She was RATIONING, my bowl, I mean 5 pieces of chicken is crazy, I don't know if she wanted some for herself but that's besides the point, finally after a treacherous job on my bowl I get rung up. "What else do you want" says this lady. I asked for a water cup, and surprise surprise I was not granted one, the customer is always right?? WRONG. read more

Not the employees' fault. Management. Why order online? Supposedly to go in and pick up your food without a line. I even pushed my pick up time out 10 minutes from the earliest. I get there to no food. 3 other pick up folks joined me as their food did not exist either. Meanwhile every walk in ordered, watched their food prep, and left with their food, like 25 people. The person when I arrived said "They are making it." Nobody was making it. I got my food 1/2 hour after it was supposed to be ready to pick up and the walk ins left in a few minutes with their order. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER! My guac is brown and the employees rolled their eyes while I asked for chicken because it was a wait like it's not my fault you guys don't have it ready and they were running low on steak so they gave me less than usually. The food is usually pretty good, but WOW the service is horrible. My family and I have had several bad experiences at the Lake Bluff location. Chipotle is really going down hill now that the skimp out on the food, but Lake Bluff is the worse I've seen. The lady scooping the chicken gave me less than half what she gave the person behind me for chicken and we ordered the same thing. I ask for more and she was extremely rude and had a major attitude problem. Honestly I'll probably start making the drive to Deerfield. read more

If you need a fast order, do NOT come here. Walk in is closed and only online ordering. I ordered at 11:05 and the soonest pick up is 11:15z. It's 11:35 and my order is still not out. I had to call for them to begin to make my order. There is about 12 other people sitting out here waiting and the team members only come out every 5-10 minutes with ONE order (of people who aren't here). read more

Customer service is pretty bad. I entered the restaurant and stood at the front for about 5 minutes. Out of the 4 employees that saw me, no one bothered to acknowledge me.
