On our way to South Padre Island, our front windshield had a rock chip. We called our insurance…read morecompany to get it fixed, and they made an appointment for us with Satellite AutoGlass. The next morning, Santana contacted us, narrowed down the original 4-hour appointment window, then pulled up on time into our hotel parking lot. He was polite, efficient and finished the job within the hour. Our insurance took care of payment, so we didn't have to pay out of pocket. (FYI, the actual bill was $43 which we thought reasonable) The whole thing was dealt with quickly, with minimal disruption to our holiday schedule. Great customer service from both our insurance company and Satellite AutoGlass.

Scheduled an appointment online for a 2008 Hummer full windshield replacement. Received…read moreconfirmation of appointment via phone call and email. Upsetting because the windshield they installed already has a defect in it. Their excuse was the window wasn't buffed properly. If the window was not up to par, why would you install it? Why would you allow someone to pay for a service and product only to get a defective one? I would have rather had my appointment rescheduled than receive a defective product. Now the only choice is to lose 3 hours of my time again to have a new one installed. I did receive a $15 discount but that does not solve the defect in my brand new windshield.

On August 7th, I went to Fix a Crack to have my windshield replaced. Alicia recommended a…read moreprotective film to prevent future cracks, which I purchased for $640. Unfortunately, less than two weeks later, the windshield cracked again. I contacted Alicia and she told me to bring the car back so they could fix it. At no point did she mention there would be an additional fee. When I brought the car in, Steven (her husband) removed the film and assured me he would replace it at their expense and "take the loss." However, after repairing the crack, Alicia charged me another $95--even though I explained I have unlimited windshield warranty coverage through Honda and wouldn't have been charged for a replacement elsewhere. To make matters worse, she later refused to reinstall the protective film I had already paid for, instead offering only a discount if I bought a new one. In the end, I lost the $640 film I purchased, paid an extra $95, and was left with a cracked windshield. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this product or business.
