The temple itself is spacious with well organized multiple manifestations of Devi Ma and Vishnu, as well as Shiv Parivar. They also have a Shivling available outside making it easy to perform jal abhishekam yourself. Sai Baba, Nav Graha, and Ganesha have additional separate chambers. This place is focused on Goddess radha as name suggests but they also have lord Krishna statue next to goddess radha and some of her friends. Land or overall space when temple is built is huge. It's a giant entrance with a quite big parking lot. Volunteers are very humble and explains all the questions very politely. They have stay facility, kitchen which serves food for guests staying and snacks shop as well. One of the volunteers mentioned they have devoteee coming for overnight stay all across USA and even international. Every Sunday, they have an satsang type event, followed by lunch. This time, since it was rainy weather, we got to see the bunch of peacocks hanging around. They have a pond in back area and little trail to walk as well. The location of this temple is really nice! And the views are amazing! The temple and the grounds surrounding it doesn't even feel like the US! I was the only non Indian, I got touched by the smiles and the genuine little gestures done by every person I encountered to make me feel included and welcome. They had clay for the kids to shape an elephant and take it to the temple. The rituals were really nice. I learned a lot not only about the religion, the culture too! The charges at the temple are not cheap. After the pooja at home or after a new car pooja at the temple, the priests demand that their Dakshinae be the same amount as the service charge that was already paid. The practice of giving Dakshinae has been a tradition when the priests are not salaried but use the money given for personal expenses. However, at this temple, the priests shamelessly demand in front of guests that we match their Dakshinae with the service charges paid at the counter! The hosts of the event, in all their pious praying mood, are in disbelief when the priests don't leave the premises without being satisfied! Are the priests reporting these unethical earnings to the IRS? Should we bring it to the attention of the IRS? Young children and older adults are falling at their feet for blessings! What kind of role models are they for our community in Austin? Why are they blackmailing the hosts with extortion? These charges were not disclosed at the time of booking the event. This is BLACK MAIL in the name of religion!
