Located in the heart of Katowice, this Georgian Restaurant offers some beautiful, freshly made food in a cozy and laidback venue.
When we entered inside, the waitress kindly showed us to an empty table and handed us the menu. Since she knew we did not speak Polish, she very nicely handed us the English menus which we very much appreciated.
The food is all very traditional with khinkali, khachapuri, and much more. This was my first time ever trying Georgian food so I was super excited. I ended up ordering some khinkali to start off with and the kubdari for my main. My coworker on the other hand went for the Udka kurczaka / chicken thighs.
The khinkali were delicious - very similar to Asian soup dumplings, and with a nice little kick to them. The dough was freshly made, and these were a great way to kick off the meal.
The kubdari was very interesting, it was sort of like a pizza but the filling was in the middle. It was super delicious and I would definitely get again, very savory. It was really heavy so next time I would definitely recommend ordering this one to share.
My coworker was kind enough to let me try his chicken and WOW, that blew me away. Some of the most tender, flavorful chicken I have ever had. And the marinade was nothing like I am used to in the US. I would definitely get this if I came back! read more
