Slice of bacon(real), pickle and olives, rimmed with celery salt & pepper. This was delicious. I ended up having 2! Ordered the onion rings with house made ranch sauce. Love the ranch. The rings were more like strings (which I love). Big ol heap! Loved these. Main course! I got the prime rib with parmesan fries and green beans. Parm fries were crispy and tasted great. The prime had great flavor but was a lil tough to cut. Nice thickness though. The au jus tasted more like pre-made but not quite sure. The green beans were quite rubbery & squeaky but not a huge deal as I had already eaten my weight in onion rings & fries. My other half had the prime rib philly. He said it was good and had great flavor. Wasn't a bad choice. The atmosphere was part bar & grill and other half was quiet sit down type. It was a confusing entry. I think we were suppose to be seated but there wasn't a sign and nobody really acknowledged us when we walked in the bar side. No biggie, we found our own booth. If we would be in the neighborhood again we of course would stop. They had a good crowd. I would suggest to try it out. Oh and I was too full to try the cheesecake but wish I could've.

A nice place. Service was some of the best I've ever had. Food was solid, but not the best. Fried pickles spears with the rock n roll sauce were great. I wouldn't have ordered these except my server recommended them out of all the apps, so I went with that. Fried things at places like this usually lack flavor and are just salty, fried bar food. These had some kick. The rock n roll sauce was like a Mayo with Frito's Chili Cheese Twists, so they were yummy. Tilapia on wild rice was ok, but it's tilapia, so how amazing can it be, right? Broccoli wasn't too over cooked and it still had a healthy green color, so I was happy with that. And the fries were a tad greasy, but they came out hot and crunchy. I think if they let the oil drain off them a bit more under a heat lamp, they'd hold their crispness a bit longer. Oh, and it was an entire plate of fries, so portions were generous. Lastly, everything was served very quickly. The place wasn't super-busy, but it wasn't dead and I was happy about the timeliness. I ordered an app first then placed an order for my entree after munching on that. And I was out done in 45 minutes. Granted, I was eating alone, but still. If you enjoy meat, I highly recommend giving this place a shot. I am a pescatarian (mostly vegetarian) and I have a sneaking suspicion that their beef and chicken options have much more developed flavors.

It's an older building so it's a little run down but that does not detract from the amazing food. Everything came out fresh and piping hot and I mean Hot! It literally just came off the stove. They have a sign that says "this is not a fast food restaurant, everything is cooked to order so please be patient". It did take some time but it was well worth the wait. We really enjoyed the fresh bread that was brought to the table to start with, the olive oil on the table to dip the bread in was a nice surprise. My wife ordered the cheese ravioli and the sauce was creamy with the right about of spice. The cheese instead the ravioli was smooth and creamy. Delicious! I used the bread to soak up the rest of the sauce after my wife was done, ha. I ordered the Pollo Marsala and the sauce was delicious, I normally like a thicker sauce but was very good, the mushrooms were fresh and not over cooked so it was great and added a nice flavor to the dish, the three chicken breasts we're nice sized was juicy when I cut into them. The only complaint I had was the noodles were under cooked. That was actually the complaint from my daughter who ordered the fettuccini Alfredo without the peas. I would say it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely go back. I would try the spaghetti and meatballs or the ravioli next time. If you are in the area and in the mood for Italian food I would pop in and try it out!

The one thing we were surprised with was - being charged for keychup when we ordered a side order of onion rings ? and also being charged for mayonnaise. I was surprised to see a charge on the bill, although it was nominal it was still something we had never been charged before.

I am from a larger city, and accustomed to chain Mexican restaurants. This is a small "mom and pop"…read more(literally) family restaurant. The front of the building is a little tienda that sells imported goods from Mexico. The restaurant is in the back portion of the building. It didn't look impressive, and I wasn't sure what it might be like based on the appearance. Service was quick. The menu was hand-written, which though quaint was also refreshing. I never see hand-written menus anymore. I ordered the chicken quesadilla meal. First an appetizer of tortilla chips was brought out along with some salsa. Though I am ordinarily not much of a fan of salsa, I found their salsa very pleasant and the chips were great. The chips were thick and substantial. I'm not sure if they are made here or bought from a supplier, but they were delicious. The main course, the chicken quesadilla, was served with rice and beans. I often find the rice and beans at Mexican restaurants to be too salty, but these were perfect. The best part of the meal was the quesadilla itself. I don't know what the chicken was marinated in, but it had a faint sweetness to it that really tasted very good. Not being from around here, I don't know if I will visit this city again. If I do, I will return to La Rosita.
