Not to mention it has ample parking in the front. That's not exactly something prominent in those parts. Anyhow, the first day we couldn't find it again, so we didn't go, but the second day we stopped by and it was empty. No worries though - by the time we were leaving, it was packed like a can of sardines much like the first day when we drove by it. A note - this was probably the best meal I had on vacation. No lie. This is a Chinese restaurant, but they also have sushi. They do a little bit of everything. This wound up being our nice night out and we loved every second of it. Staff was kind, portions were generous, and the food was spectacular. My companion and I shared some vegetable spring rolls to start, then he had the Mongolian beef and I had the shrimp lo mein. I sampled a bit of his beef and it was better than average. The vegetable spring rolls, too, were plentiful (we had half a dozen total) and just made. As for the shrimp lo mein, so much shrimp and so hearty and tasty. My only regret is our hotel didn't have a microwave. They also serve beer and wine. Not sure about liquor. My companion had beer and I had ginger ale. Can't complain. The Chinese food at Nueva China rivals my favorite Chinese joint back home except it may actually be healthier. I wish I could take this restaurant with me. I find myself still craving their shrimp weeks later.

I am embarrassed to report that I do not remember what dish I ordered, but I did write in my notes that the food was EXCELLENT ! I do remember the meal because it was delicious, a fusion of Asian and Latin flavors. I plan to return and visit again in January 2015. My flight leaves tomorrow night for Santiago. Next time I will render a better report. I would highly recommend Madam Tusan as a fine place to dine. Sin embargo , espero que me entienden. ok...I am in Chile now, but in the city of La Serena, north of Santiago. The other day, when I was in Santiago I went to the PARQUE ARAUCO MALL. Then I saw it, the other Madam Tusan. I knew that I ate at Madam Tusan but did not remember where it waslocated. The address above at Av. Andres Bello was not the one I ate at, it was the one in PARQUE ARAUCO. Either way, the food there is excellent.. Of course there is parking in the Mall parking lot, for a small fee.

The traditional chile Rocoto sauce ( hope I spelt that correct) was out of the world ..had to order it twice ! BTW -the Chaufa ( Peruvian Chinese rice) though nicely done is not different from Any fried rice at a chinese restaurant .

I sat on the non-smoking patio and it was delightful to listen to the rain from the patio. The large inside dining space is crazy huge! It looks like a dim sum restaurant in Manhattan, but they don't do dim sum here! There are two giant patios out front cloaked in huge trees. Food delivery drivers are constantly doing pickups so you know the food is fresh and turned over fast. Service was good in the beginning, but then I was kind of left alone after my food arrived and had to go find someone to ask for the check. The stir fry dish I ordered, Pollo Chi Siu was very good with tausi sauce and fresh garlic and ginger grated in a light, flavorful black bean sauce. It was great that the veggies were not overcooked! It does not come with rice, which was too bad. The cost was about $17,000 once I added tip. I didn't have a drink.

Spent a lot of money in presentation and forgot to keep the essence of the Chinese excellence on the Chinese food that was their main characteristic and this is unfortunate. Service I can't speak because I ordered out. Portions came in very small and half of the little boxes empty. Let's hope someone else has a different experience with this restaurant that use to be an almost a must go to while's visiting Santiago Chile.
