The owner was quick to help us order the correct amount of spice and the woman cooking in the back was responsive to the spice level. Normally, Germans do not like much spice in their food. Rest assured if you ask for spicy food, you will get it. Really enjoyed the variety of food available. 4 different items, 3 drinks for 50€ is a good meal. We will be back!

For favorite dishes, I'm torn between the eggplants and potatoes in red sauce vs. the cold smoked tofu with cilantro. The latter was spicy, salty, tart with black vinegar, just totally delicious in every way. I love that dense pressed tofu with the smoked exterior. I also ordered the veggie dumplings, which had a great texture, and yuxian style tofu, which I found delicious if a bit too sweet for my taste. An order of food that was enough to feed 4 people came to 30 euros. Highly recommend! Note: since the restaurant adapted itself to German tastes, the food is not very spicy, but I'm sure if you asked for spicier food they would be happy to oblige.
