I've given this place probably a dozen trips with several different dishes. The flavor is okay but the chicken is ALWAYS over cooked. It's hard to chew and stringy. Best chicken and vegetable dinner. First I am gluten free so I always ask for no soy sauce and white sauce on my food. As always this restaurant gets it correct. Time after time! We only get Chinese food here. A little longer wait on busy nights, but our food was hot and delicious. Very bland food. Egg Rolls -tasteless and greasy. Sesame Chicken was suppose to be spicy- no taste. Chicken cashews- very unpleasant taste. Pork fried rice was absolutely bad (no pork or vegetables, just unflavored brown rice. Boneless ribs - hard, greasy with a strange tasting sauce. Nothing was remotely pleasant. I'm slightly annoyed with this meal. I ordered honey wings with pork fried rice. There are more onions in the rice than pork. The honey wings aren't bad at all but what does a girl have to do to get more swine around here. This is literally the third time I've ordered from this restaurant. I love this place. It's a typical Chinese take-out. They are always polite and fast. They never have any issues modifying dishes and will go above an beyond to make what you want! The steamed dumplings are made in house and are excellent. Mooshu pork is really good and cashew chicken. Food is always hot and fresh when picking up. read more

The absolute worst customer service experience I've ever had in my life. My wife called stating that her chicken tasted awful and felt rubbery as if it were re-heated. The gentleman that answered the phone proceeded to say, "It is what it is, What do you want me to do about it?" She asked for either a refund or for the order to be remade and the flat out refused. I stopped by the restaurant to talk to them in person and received the same treatment. The owners son stated that he would not remake the order or refund our money. They actually called the police on me Becuase I stated that I didn't want to leave until I was either refunded or provided with a recooked order. The officer arrived and had nothing to say, except that he was sorry. It's sad that a dissatisfied customer has to have to police called on them. Seeing as most of the reviews are older, I thought I'd review it 2016. We are coming home from a 12 hour drive and I wanted Chinese food and despite the negative reviews we decided to order anyway. I called ahead from spring lake which is like 5 min away so I had to wait a few minutes when I got there. General Tso's chicken delish. Sweet and sour chicken was delish. Crab rangoons were more of just cream cheese Rangoon which they still tasted good. Boneless spareribs were also delish. Pork fried rice was good and not super greasy like normal Chinese takeout. We didn't care for the egg rolls but honestly we don't usually EVER care for them at Chinese places. I'd order from here again. I mean lets be honest, beggars can't be choosers. As far as Chinese food goes it's pretty good. Hit or miss just like most Chinese food places, the eggrolls and fried dumplings are good. The sweet and sour chicken is fine but nothing special. Ordered over the phone and they said it would be ready 5-10mins, got there in 15mins and order wasn't ready and no other customers were there, they were playing a game on the laptop...and didn't wash hands before preparing my food an were very rude when I asked if they could wash their hands or put on gloves since they were just on the game. Okay tasting Chinese food but my biggest complaint was the lack of flavor in the rice And lack of chicken underneath all the breading. Both my husband and I got chicken dishes and there was hardly any chicken... it was all breading. The flavor of the sauces for our chicken were good, but it was hard to stomach the sauced pure breading. Pretty disappointing, as there is potential here but I genuinely think they don't care to improve due to the lack of service or care we witnessed. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would!!! Never ever eat here. This place was so disgusting tasted old. Also my boyfriend said when he picked it up he heard noises like someone spitting in the food they were cooking. When he got home with the food we noticed the rice had peas that were white so we finally taste the food and the rice is so hard and gross, ALSO the food is very cold. When we ate the our meat on my first bite I spit it out cause the texture and taste was horrible ( boneless spare ribs ) and my boyfriend got the fried chicken, which he said was very dry and cold. We decide to call the restaurant and she knew immediately which order was ours, she said are you 18.37?? Which was our order. I said yes and she said okay bye bye and hung up. So we called back and I told her that food was gross and tasted old and asked if we could return the food and get a refund and she said no. So we decided to go to the place. When we arrived, she was being very rude yelling at her saying the food isn't old and that we ate half of the food so she couldn't do anything about it, but literally ALL of the food is there. We only took a bite and it was horrible. Then my boyfriend asked can he speak to a manager and she yelled no, you can call 911 so we called 911 and let them know the situation. The worst I have ever experienced in all my 30 plus years. You do not get to speak with any adults because their children run the cash register. I Ordered my food, paid for it and had to argue with the kid to claim my order. They do look like they work very hard and prove it by sleeping in plain eyes view where the customers eat. The meal itself was dissatisfying, the rice was very oily and everything else wasn't good either. The pricing is questionable too. I would not even recommend this place to an enemy. read more

I walked in the front door and was punched in the nose by the sweet sweet aroma of Chinese food. The young boy at the counter was very well spoken and worked very quickly. I ordered and though it was a bit pricey I was happy to wait the couple minutes it took to have my order ready. I drive home listening to the sultry sounds of shaggy singing angel when i got home I found the portion sizes to be quite large. I took my first bite and oh my sweet baby Jesus it was like trading a baby's laugh. I devoured it in record time and my craving for chicken and broccoli was satisfied. Been to this place 3 different times. The first time I went with a friend who recommended it; we got the shrimp lo mein, orange chicken combination, & the boneless spare bbq ribs combo which comes with fry rice & an egg roll. Everything tasted great in this order, it tasted fresh & delicious. 2nd time we got again the shrimp lo mein, boneless spare bbq ribs, an order of dumplings & a hot & sour soup, the dumplings did not taste fresh & were not as good as other places, the hot & sour soup was a disappointment as it lacks Flavor, worse hot & sour soup I've ever had. The 3rd time, I got the lunch special of boneless spare ribs with fried rice & a small order on the lo mein combination, this order wasn't as good as the first 2 times, the fry rice lacks flavor & it didn't taste fresh, it tasted like it had been made from a couple days ago & it needs improvement! Most of the time the service as been good, but the third time wasn't as pleasant as before. I was checked out by the older Asian lady & she didn't really provided good customer service, I told her I was missing the egg roll from my lunch order & she told me that it wasn't included in the lunch menu, but when I checked my total I notice I was charged for the combination instead of the lunch special which the combination includes the egg roll, but I want given one even though I paid for that price despite ordering the lunch special. Anyways, I think this place is a hit or miss depending on what u order. I've been ordering always the same thing I liked in the past as I'm afraid of being disappointed if I order something else in their menu that might not be as tasty. My gf ordered the General Tso's chicken plate. She was satisfied. I ordered the spare rib combo & ended up throwing the ribs away. Hard, chewy & no taste. I don't know if it was old or freezer burn. Plain awful. Customer service was worse. After 15 minutes of waiting we heard the older lady yelling at the cooks. My gf went to ask how much longer & she was told that it would be soon because the customer in front of us ordered $70 worth of food. Really????? What a joke. I asked for napkins & she pointed to the 2 tiny one she had left & walked away. I'm thinking, I've got ribs woman & need to clean my hands. I give it a few stars because they are the only Chinese food nearby and the taste is compatible to the majority of mediocre Chinese restaurants. The food is expensive, they load it up with rice and onions to make the order look full.
