They always seem to achieve a delicate balance of herbs and spices with the main ingredients which is what Thai cooking is all about. The food here is very fresh and fragrant. If eating in, I recommend the banquet, suitable for four people (from $35 per person) which typically includes four entrees, soup, two or three main dishes, vegetables and rice. The dishes are served in the centre of the table so that you can help yourself and pass around. I wouldn't recommend the outdoor seating as Botany Road can get quite noisy but the indoors has a cosy, relaxed atmosphere. BYO only so if it's a group of us, we usually grab a couple of bottles of wine from Dan Murphy's nearby.

Crab Fried Rice was also good. Overall good and tasty Thai food. Reasonable portion and price. FYI, tip is compulsary in OZ, however it's a starting trend now. Tip jar and tip line on receipt. Secondly, it's a 30 second walk from my house, which probably contributes a lot to my first point but the pad see ew is too good to pass up. Their fish cakes are also juicy and full of flavour. Thirdly, the Randwick restaurant is uber cute as it's small and exclusive except everyone knows about it and it's constantly busy. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is lively. However I heard that the mixed entree plate was just as delicious as was the pad thai that my friends tucked into. It's more closer to Parramatta Rd than any other Thai place in Newtown, however they also offer containers for an extra 50c for you to take your left overs home and it's quite a bit cheaper than the alternatives along King Street. The wait staff are lovely and always smiling. Just don't be shy about waving your arms about if you need anything extra!! And the seating inside is better than the plastic outside, just an aside. But I can understand how it would be nice to be outside sometimes!
