The menu options are limited compared to larger Italian restaurants, but a lot of care seems to go into the food. There is also a limited selection for beer & spirits. But, this is a restaurant not a tavern. I will have to return for pizza another day soon. Great excuse to get back to Denmark. The restaurant seating is a bit confusing. The place was mostly clean as we entered. We were greeted and brought to the top corner and told we could sit anywhere. We chose to sit by the window and watch the M train make its rounds. Scrolling through the menu, we settled on two pizzas, two salads, garlic bread, a beer and their specialty lemonade. All of a sudden, my wife starts looking at the menu and having second thoughts about the salad. She was hungry, but was worried about the full sized salad and pizza being too much food. Fortunately, the wait staff didn't have a problem cancelling the salad. Soon after, our food showed up. Everything was pretty good, except for the lemonade, which was REALLY good. Even on our last day, we were learning as we went, so we were kind of confused as to whether we waited for the attendant or went to the counter to pay. Fortunately, we found a server and paid for our meal. Gorm's was a decent meal for our last night in Copenhagen, and is worth a visit.

I've been seeing people with pizza boxes all over Sluseholmen, and was wondering where they came from - until I found La Focaccia. They are already hugely popular, offering pizza, focaccia sandwiches, pasta and salads, as well as a little selection of Italian specialties (Parmesan cheese, olive oil, pesto, pasta, etc.). For a first test, we got two pizzas, one with pepperoni and one with pesto. Both were good. There's only one size available, with prices ranging from 60kr to around 85kr. Service was friendly, but still struggling a bit with the POS system. They currently only accept cash and MobilePay. Great addition to the area - will be back for sure!
