She lead me over to a very old looking wood and copper door and told me to just open it and go in. Intrigued by her invitation, I walked in and was amazed by what I saw! I was in total awe of this 1750 seat theater that was built in 1933. It has a beautiful Ancient Grecian look with columns and a beautiful curved ceiling that can be lite up like it's daytime or night, depending on the mood to be conveyed. It's all very classy looking. Words hardly do this facility justice, so I've posted several photos of this beautiful old theater. 5 Stars

FTR, baby!!! The…read moreValentine Theatre is a staple in downtown Toledo. The ambiance exudes history and culture - the massive mural in the entrance depicts theatre performers from 1895 to 1920. It's painted by Paul Geiger, a Toledo local and someone my parents know. :) Unfortunately, the theatre was under renovation for much of my childhood and I didn't attend many performances here, but nonetheless, this place rocks! I recently got to return for a friend's wedding and it was the perfect venue for it. They opened up the theatre for guests to walk around and check it out and the reception was held in the mural room. This play gives a fictional account of the lives of composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Salieri, imagining a rivalry between the two at the court of Joseph II, Holy Roman Emperor. My granddaughter started classes just as she turned 2. Some things were a bit difficult for her to…read moregrasp, but each week became easier. She loved going to class, made friends, and developed confidence in her abilities. Their recital was today and we were all amazed at how well these little ones danced their two dances. Mid year, tap was introduced, and that was a definite hit! The school teaches a variety of dance types and even has tumbling. We'll be back in the fall!

Had my 5 year old daughter in one class and pulled her out right after. Floors are not dance studio…read morefloors, all they worry about is the recital and the instructor was very rude. She did not introduce herself, she acted as though these 5 and 6 year olds were older then they were, she excepted them to pick up steps that needed more time to learn, she treated them as if they were dumb because they would mess up their left and right and she did not make the class fun what so ever. I later found out it was her first day but that is no excuse. It was my like girls first day to and she acted better then the adult!
