As opposed to most principals who focus on administration, this principal is first and foremost an educator. This is reflected in the teaching staff ethos - they understand kids and are able to create a great teaching environment. The kids trust the teachers and thus able to learn, be creative, reach their potential while still be kids. That's not an easy eco system to create, but kinneret day school is exactly such a place. Nevertheless, it was a great decision to send her to KNK. She's happy, has learned a ton and has always been safe in their care. The providers are kind, thoughtful, well organized and responsive. The children get time to play indoors and outdoors through the seasons, circle time, and arts and crafts, and if parents opt in, a special class once a week (e.g., music, taekwondo). The providers also throw the children beautiful and fun birthday parties with themes and have other special days throughout the year. Although changing my daughter's daycare would make it easier for me to get to work in the morning, I've chosen not to. When you find a safe and loving environment for your child like KNK, making it work becomes a priority over everything else.
