Celia has no backbone in the 3's classroom, she doesn't have any control over her class and as a result you won't be able to work because they will call you to get your kid because they can't handle it. Stephanie up in the front is amazing and I have nothing bad to say about her, but she went on maternity leave recently and as soon as she went on maternity leave, the owner Nihti started targeting my son. I spoke with Nihti in the office which is when she told me kids are a number on a clipboard there. She is completely and totally only in this business for the money. And it shows. Her BEST staff Miss Ashley recently left around the same time Stephanie went on maternity leave. Because of their lack of GOOD staff, they will kick your kids out of their school. They've been open for a year and Nihti told me she's had to let go of multiple families. Tell me you don't care about the kids without telling me you don't care about the kids. They've also don't care about their staff at all. Stay FAR FAR away from this place. They also don't teach the kids ANYTHING. The classrooms are zoo's.

Their curriculum and planning for each age group is great, and helps students at every age learn valuable, practical skills as well as introducing education fundamentals. Throughout my time here, I had many opportunities to leverage my skills and discover new creative outlets within my lessons. They value and appreciate their staff, making sure they are being supported throughout their day. I would highly recommend Celebree School of Exton as a great school to entrust your child's care and education, as well as a wonderful workplace for educators/childcare workers.

Susan, the director, has been very responsive and accommodating, and our daughter's teachers are loving and involved. I have found the building and outside area to be clean (the playground area is awesome), and I will echo one of the other parents that the teachers in the other rooms go out of their way to engage with parents and children who are not even assigned to their rooms. There is a nice sense of community here. In particular, Miss Saamara in the Cuddlebug room is outstanding. She is incredibly warm and sweet. Our child had some issues with separation anxiety at first and Miss Saamara would take her and walk her around the room while holding her, showing her pictures and talking to her in a soothing voice as I left. I would often pause for a minute outside the room to make sure my child stopped crying, and Miss Saamara always had her calmed within a minute or two. Now that she has adjusted to her classmates and teachers, our child is always happy and barely notices when we arrive to pick her up - she would rather keep playing! One of the other things I really liked about this program is that most of the teachers have been here much longer than other programs: 5-15 years. That made me very comfortable that the director knows the teachers well and that they are in this career because they love what they do. The reason for the 4 out of 5 star rating is that we have had two minor issues here, but I feel that these has been handled well by the teachers/director and were positively resolved. (a few late arrivals by a teacher which caused me to be late to work and one incident where I picked up my daughter and she had developed a high fever but I was not called. The teachers had not noticed due to it being about 80 degrees out and the children were outside playing.) Overall, I felt these incidents were minor and I felt the teachers and director responded quickly and appropriately to my concerns. I think that as we get more time under our belt here (we have only been enrolled 6 months) and no further issues arise, I would be very comfortable amending this rating to a 5 star.

I've recommended this location to other friends looking for child care centers - we're happy with our decision to go with P&L in Bryn Mawr and look forward to our daughter continuing to grow and learn throughout her time there. We sought a better opportunity enrich our sons lives at this critical stage with experiences and learning opportunities at a place that felt more structured, safe, clean, and genuinely had the best interest of the children/students in everything they did. Jennifer (the owner) is involved, detail oriented, attentive and communicative. The teachers and staff are friendly, present, and clearly care. The use of email and general technology (e.g. Tadpole) to amplify the communication is effective and keeps things transparent. The activities and interactions our son has had in just the first few weeks have opened up new windows for his curiosity and intellect. The shift in our older son's demeanor was immediately evident. Loves the environment and they've helped her so much with independent sleeping and keeping a great routine. The teacher that is in jail for harming the babies was also my daughter's infant room teacher. Absolutely devastated for the babies and their families. Their lives will never be the same. And livid at the statement issued by the center. It is more of the same from them. My daughter was in the infant room at Oaks and early on we had concerns about the safety, unprofessional processes, and unwillingness of the Director as well as the previous or past owner to have open, honest, productive conversations about issues that came up. The Director literally said to me "Michelle, you just need to stop this and trust us". No, I will not just trust you or anyone with my infant. Our primary issues were: 1. Unsafe entrance in that anyone could walk through the doors by following others through with no checks or protocal for checking 2. No transparency when my daughter moved to the toddler room on who was changing her diapers even though this had been provided in the infant room and this became a battle with the director when it should have been an easy thing 3. Staff that was doing at least double duty as both carers and cleaners 4. A broken fence lock that was never fixed in the play area 5. My daughter always wanted to get the heck of there when I picked her up unlike the daycare that I moved her to where she sometimes doesn't want to leave for a good while after we get there 6. Some staff were very disheveled. I didn't want my daughter to think that was a normal way of being. After many attempts to be collaborative and open with the owners and the director, it was obvious that if a serious problem arose that these are not the people you'd want by your side to work through it. I left before anything serious happened. There is an incident I recall in the infant room where my daughter did have unexplained injuries while in the care of Catalina Baldwin while the other teacher was out on vacation. I thank god that it was not serious, but it could have been. The only explanation I ever got was that there was no incident at school and it probably happened at home or in her car seat. We were lucky.

The owner Alice, director Christine and teacher Alayna did not take appropriate action to find a solution to the other child's aggressive daily behavior, toward my child and others. After me telling them numerous times for months and months this is not okay, they still did not take action. I asked to speak with the child's parents and they refused, well never Even cared to get back to me. They had ample time to correct the situation and were well aware of the child's behavior. My last straw was when I picked my daughter up and she had a scratch on her face, lips were scratched up with a huge bubble on them. No one could tell me what happened , the adults at this center asked me to ask my 4 year old what happened. This is the care they provide to young children!! Horrifying to say the least. Alice the owner labeled my daughter sensitive since she would cry at drop off and after pick up in the car. Well if someone was poking at you all day and saying nasty things wouldn't anyone be upset, Especially at four years old. The center also knew my Husband was dying of cancer and he unfortunately has passed. Per a teacher that left they would not console my daughter if she talked about her Father and was upset they would leave her by herself. Another huge wow of failure from the adults. Lastly, the teachers come and go every few weeks. Oaks had the potential to be great but failed miserably. My child was taken out by me because the other child I guess is allowed to run the show and do whatever she pleases to whoever. Isn't that a great lesson to teacher both children I'm this situation . Thankfully my child is thriving at her new school and lis safe and back to herself. Don't be fooled like I was. Oh and good luck getting a conference with your child's teacher after asking for a month it still never happened.

They are a pleasure to work with and really care about the children that attend their school. They checked in when we started to make sure it was a smooth transition and went the extra mile to ensure everything was going well and our daughter was happy. As a parent feeling comfortable with those caring for your child is priceless. The facility is completely renovated, engaging and very clean. The teachers were wonderful and our daughter had a great learning experience. We currently attend Chesterbrook in North Carolina and we highly recommend this location, our current North Carolina location and Chesterbrook Academy as a child care organization.
