There is a parking lot directly across from the entrance, which made getting in and out convenient. Admission was handled well. My son's school provided us with passes, so entry was free for us. Otherwise, admission was $14 for both days or $8 for a single day, which seemed reasonable for a tournament. The main gym is centrally located, a decent size, and offers plenty of seating for spectators. The scoreboards were large and easy to see from both sides of the gym. Concessions were available throughout all games, and pricing was fair. The walking taco was very cheesy and not something I would purchase again, but the hot dogs were beef, which was a plus. They also had a good variety of drinks and candy, and accepted both cash and card. The drive to the school wasn't bad, and it was a solid venue for a basketball tournament.

Admission was easy. They accept cash or card by scanning a QR code. The concession stand is located near the admission gate. They had a Kona Ice truck available after the admission gate which was nice for this hot day. My husband got the smallest size for about $4 and enjoyed it. I also liked that the Kona Ice truck stayed open even after the game ended. Right after the admission gate, there's a large open area where people can hang out and the home team's benches were after that. We were on the away team, so that bench was a bit of a walk to the other side of the field. We didn't realize until after walking all the way over that there was actually parking and another entrance closer to the away team side, so that's something to keep in mind if you're coming to support the visiting team. The football field is a good size and appeared well kept. There's one large scoreboard, and the overall grounds looked nice. The game we attended was pretty packed, so seating was harder to find on the away team side. We have bleacher seats, but it was a challenge finding space for them at this game. If we have to come here again, we decided we will probably sit on the home team side as those bleachers accommodate way more people and are higher up so better for pictures.

He went through a phase of behavioral issues and instead of dealing with them, the school kindly asked us to stop coming, even though we had paid tuition through the year (which was not refunded). After some meetings about what we were going to do and them about moving forward they had no plan in place and it became very evident that they love the students, but only if they are easy for them. They treated us all very badly and made our 4 year old extremely confused. Stefanie was less than desirable to work with and had her puppet Rae do all of her dirty work for her. After two months of not "inviting" our son back after we were working with him at home and a child therapist, we decided to pull him out indefinitely. Would not recommend this very yuppie school to anyone. Kids need guidance and help and if you want them to fail you like they did us, then by all means sign them up. Good luck.

My family lived in Columbus, IN for three years, when I was in 2nd - 4th grade. Because the local…read morepublic schools had a poor reputation, my parents enrolled me in the elementary school at ABC Stewart and my brother in the pre-school. Although I was pretty young at the time and only attended for a few years, I look back at ABC Stewart as being an amazing experience that has positively impacted me in adulthood. ABC Stewart's elementary school is a small, intimate environment. The years I attended the total population ranged from 60 to 90-something students, and the younger grades usually had more people than the older grades. This allowed for a highly personalized learning environment. Although the default was to be grouped by grade, Stewart School allowed us to learn at our own pace. For example, I was ahead of my grade in spelling and English classes, so I was allowed to work with the higher grades for those periods. For math and science, where I was grade level, I returned back to my peers. ABC Stewart is not a true Montessori school but uses many Montessori aspects. We had traditional classes part of the day, but the other part (the fun half!) was independent study. In independent study we could travel from classroom to classroom and learn the subject of our choice. (There was a system in place to make sure kids didn't spend all the time in one subject.) I loved independent study and feel the system instills an enjoyment of learning I didn't get when I was older and in public schools. ABC Stewart Elementary is truly a nurturing and caring environment with great teachers who genuinely love their jobs. Mrs. Carmichael, the founder, is a visionary who is committed to the students, parents, and keeping the school great. If you're stuck in the Columbus area and have kids, I would definitely send them here.

WAIT!! READ MY REVIEW BEFORE SENDING YOUR KID HERE!! I'm gonna stay anonymous if this website…read moredoesn't have a username thing anyway. I am a student at Hauser Jr-Sr Highschool and with coming with that there are ups and downs to this school. Since I'm a rather positive person I'll begin with the positives Hauser Jr-Sr Highschool. Hauser is a smaller school which means less time trying to find your classes and getting lost which is nice in the long run ( although you still can get lost if it's your first year ) and Hauser also has a 5-minute passing period as of this year which makes getting to classes nice and feel less rushed. Alongside less rushed classes are amazing staff who are kind to their students and make it their top priority to keep them safe and educated. Hauser is also very wonderful when it comes to children with mental disorders ( such as ADHD, Autism, down syndrome etc. ) being very patient and understanding with them. ( as what I've seen from having Autism myself ) Now for the downsides. Hauser states to have a "no tolerance policy" when I've SEEN multiple teachers watch kids get made fun of every day ( including myself ) and you can't even report it because from experience I've tried to report multiple cases of bad things happening around Hauser and within my grade to get a "We have no evidence" or "We'll get to it we are busy" and they end up doing NOTHING about it. if you seriously care about your child not getting bullied or getting mental issues BECAUSE of this schools incapablilty to handle things before they get worse ( 2 kids in my grade have ATTEMPTED suicide by the way!! ) then I highly suggest NOT sending your kid here. Alongside all of that Hauser has some strict rules as of what I've seen so far i'll give some examples of these rules. You CANNOT go to the library during your lunch OR your resource so that gives us the students NO time to go unless they think we are stupid enough to skip class. ( which some are, unfortunately ) Spotfiy and most other music apps (expect one that I won't say because I'm not letting Hauser ban this one ) are banned. Backpacks are banned ( they have to be in your locker the whole time and I guess its not for everyone because I see some kids with mental disorders wearing them so I don't know the handbook says it's against the rules but I've never seen anyone get in trouble for it so yeah no clue. ) you HAVE to stay in the cafeteria and gym during your lunch and you CAN'T go anywhere else in the school. ( its OUR free time we should be able to go anywhere we want but this is just a personal hatred of this rule of mine. ) but you get the point. Hauser is rather flawed with strict rules, a quote on quote no tolerance policy and not doing anything about kids getting into trouble. all I have to say is do better. If you get a report about a kid getting bullied or anything like that HELP THEM. - Anonymous
