We planned to use a different roof contractor who was less expensive, but our 90 year old mother…read moreinsisted on using Valley Roofing and Siding. Not only was the quality and workmanship superior, the customer service was unparalleled! Paul estimated the job and his team arrived on schedule, two days later. The crew worked 12 hours days in some cases and completed the job on time in spite of a rain delay. In fact, our mother fell in the yard while the crew was installing the roof. Paul made sure that she was safely in her home and able to mange for herself before leaving her alone. That concern for a quality product and type of customer care is PRICELESS!! Thank you Valley Roofing, we wouldn't think of using anyone else!! Renee

I had broken and cracked sheathing which I pointed out before they started. They didn't replace any of the wood, just shingled over large gaps and rotten areas. The ridge vent looked like it was cut by a blind man, 6 inches wide down to 2 inches. They left the shingles overhanging 2 inches on the sides of the roof. They never touched the flashing over the garage. They nailed the aluminum trim from my siding into the roof at the end, ruining it. It wasn't nailed before and it's not supposed to be nailed. It all lifted up later. I paid extra to have the chimney cap repaired. The guy spent 20 minutes on that, just slathered new cement over the broken and cracked cap. The rain gutters were left jam packed with shingles, nails and debris. The owner seems nice but don't let this fool you. He acted like I was crazy when I questioned anything. They did end up replacing some of the broken sheathing after I complained. I believe they farmed out the work on my house although he claimed the adult had worked with him for years. All of the work done was shoddy and incompetent.

If you looking for a company that pretty much can do it all at a decent price then call Manny Roofing in the Manchester, NH area. He services most of Southern NH. Manny showed when he said he would and finished a day or two earlier than expected. I strongly recommend using Manny roofing.

It took a while for me, as a first-time homeowner, to understand that this meant I had a leak in the roof, because I thought it might somehow be a plumbing issue (it was a leak down the bathroom's exhaust vent pipe). The plumber said roofer. I found Manny because I was looking for someone to repair my front porch steps, and given that he was also a roofer, I asked him to give his opinion on what I hoped was a minor issue that could just be repaired, but it turns out that it needed a whole new roof, because the flashing around the pipe was bad, and with further inspection, turned out to be missing shingles, on top of THREE layers of roofing that they'd just kept putting more on. Manny made it easy to coordinate with the insurance company, and what a relief that they agreed to pay for the majority of the roof (but not the tower, which was actually the portion that was in the worst condition, but it wasn't storm damaged, just old). But his help in coordinating made it possible to get it all done, including repairing my front steps, because the cost would have been overwhelming without the insurance part of the equation. The workers were all so kind and helpful, particularly in maneuvering in the tight spaces that is my yard/driveway to get the trash to the curb on trash day around the dumpster in the driveway. Thankfully this work was completed in the winter so no worries about crushing blooms in my front garden, but I also appreciated how they put down tarps over all the plants to protect them, used nets to slide debris into the dumpster, and came back around to clean up after--including using a magnet to catch stray nails. I did unfortunately lose a blueberry bush and I'm a little worried about my blackberry canes, but overall they did their best and while I'd have preferred leaving my leaf mulch down, there's no way to distinguish between the leaf mulch and trash, so you shrug and deal with it. I'm sure the perennials will be fine come spring. As you can see from the pictures, my 1886 Victorian has quite a complicated roofline, and they were able to preserve the profile of the roof, put everything back where it ought to go, and then they'll be coming back in a couple of weeks to patch up the interior places where I originally realized there was damage.

Our home and new roof look magnificent. Carlos was professional from the start, visiting us on the day we called, presenting us a complete proposal with informational brochures. His materials, workmanship, and guarantees are rare in this industry. The most gratifying for us is the fact that Carlos delivered on all of his promises, from the start date, his crew performing the work, completion of the work and clean-up and removal of debris.  With any issue that came up, Carlos was very flexible and worked it into the project. Both Carlos and Abraham were professional and neat - they cleaned the job site daily and when the work was completed, they left nothing behind. In fact, during the last day, they spent over an hour packing up and cleaning all around our home picking up errant debris and hunting for nails.  We will certainly be recommending ADN Roofing to our family and friends. Thank you for your competitive pricing, professionalism and a job well done. Rich & Silvia
