What a fantastic location!!! Truly secluded, but simultaneously only a short drive to downtown Chico. This place truly is a wonder, made all the more amazing by Dulcy's warm hospitality. We stayed there at the beginning of Autumn, just as the leaves were starting to change colour, and it meant we had warm days and cool evenings. The wildlife is abundant, with deer grazing in the meadow just outside the cottage door. The cottage itself is cosy, warm and very comfortable. Make sure you take Dulcy up on the offer of breakfast...Her waffles were amazing, along with homemade syrups and condiments...Truly a memorable and enjoyable experience, and I hope I can come back soon. read more

The Lomi Lomi massage and the beautiful treatment space put me into a state of total relaxation! As I walked into the treatment room, filled with soft music and relaxing aromas, I instantly felt at ease. The large windows open up the room to vast views of the meadows and canyon giving me a sense of total seclusion. The massage was amazing and the masseuse's professionalism and confidence gave me a total feeling of comfort. During the treatment she used aromatic oils that heightened my experience. The moment I arrived at Chico Canyon Resort I felt renewed. The natural ambiance is gorgeous and perfectly conducive for healing and relaxation. The practitioners were very kind and accommodating. I felt instantly comfortable and at ease. As an Esthetician, I have had many spa services and I must say the "Bliss" treatment was divine!!! The drive down the switchbacks into the canyon is beautiful and surreal! The retreat center itself is serene. The massage room is simple and cozy with a beautiful view of the tuscan cliffs. I am instantly able to find my center and heal myself...with the amazing help of the CCR staff! read more
