They never made us feel like a burden, and instead welcomed us with understanding and kindness. Ms. Rose was especially helpful during the enrollment process, making everything clear and smooth. Since Ms. Tawanna joined the team, she has been a fantastic communicator and listener. Her knowledge and genuine care for the children and families really stand out. We truly love our school and feel so lucky to be part of the La Petite Academy family.

She has created nothing but chaos in this school for parents and students. She has un-enrolled at least 2 students for no reason, leaving parents to try and find daycare with no notice. She did not work with the students or parents, gave no notice and just un-enrolled them. This puts parent's jobs in jeopardy. I have seen her very combative, especially with fathers. She is rude on the phone and does not want to hear anything. As a single father, this is troubling, and that is why I pulled my child. I miss the great directors Shamequa and Jessica. They got to know the parents and the children. I would stay away from this daycare.

There is no communication , they do not take accountability and they believe that you do not "need help" in your classroom. The recently hired assistant director came in micromanaging everyone and everything. Being a hard/faithful worker does not matter to them. After working by myself for over almost two months and being the one to do mostly everything in the classroom. I was wrongful let go AFTER I resigned putting in my two weeks notice. Children deserve a safe environment where their parents can leave them. I will miss my little ones so much but I'm glad that I no longer have to be apart of such a toxic environment!

We've seen tremendous growth in their confidence, skills, and love for swimming. All the coaches have been fantastic over the years. I may not remember every name, but each one has played a role in my kids' progress. A special thank you to Coach Zachary -- he was absolutely wonderful and made a big impact. Currently, Coach Cole is doing a great job as well! The front desk team and receptionists have always been friendly, helpful, and professional. The overall environment is positive, encouraging, and very well organized. We're truly grateful for the dedication of the entire Aqua-Tots team. I filed a complaint with the USA Swimming Safe Sport and with the U.S. Center for SafeSport. However, neither of these organizations can take action against the rough coaches and the school because it is a private institution and falls outside the jurisdiction of any organization that could halt their dangerous practices. They will continue to lie on their website by stating "Safety first" while simultaneously forcing your screaming child underwater. They scared my 4-year-old. She screamed and was actively resisting, but the coach just took her and threw her into the water. I could see she was suffocating for a moment because he just forced her under water while she screamed. So lovely for a first lesson ever. How do I convince her now that swimming is fun? Coach Lucas doesn't know what he is doing at all. Disappoinment. I regret I brought my kid there.

Sure enough I was told they had a spot for all three of my kids and by the grace of God they were at Knowledge Beginnings 7 days later STABILITY! KB has given my children something they and I have desperately needed in our lives right now for personal reasons. They're happy there. That means the world to me because the last place they were at for only two months, I was desperate to get them out so much that I was nauseous everyday dropping them off. Hearing their cries and the things my six, almost 7yo daughter would tell me. Again I just cannot say enough about the care provided by KB for the whole family. I love their director Erica and assistant director Alex! They're both incredibly friendly and make you feel like you've been friends for two decades kind of friendly but still professional and uphold boundaries to ensure that all are treated the same. They really care about their students and families. The teachers are wonderful especially in keeping contact with us parents about any concerns or even kudos. The classes and productions are inclusive of any dancer that is interested in participating, even those who don't take classes at the studio. Dancers of all sizes and shapes are welcome and are all treated in the same respectful way. As the mom of a pre-teenage girl whose body image is still in development, this is a crucial component for me. Secondly, the instructors are personable, approachable, and highly talented, and interested the dancers' development. The instructor who manages the jazz, tap, and musical theater programs provides the choreography for the productions, and the results are a classic, skilled and enthusiastic display of talent. She does not have to rely solely on trendy gimmicks or inappropriate dances to design fantastic pieces, yet the productions and recital dancers stay current with what progressive dancers do. Finally, the owner is flexible, knowledgeable, and professional, and makes sure each dancer is getting individual attention when it is necessary. For any parent looking for a dance school, I would stop by the studio and talk to him. He will let you try a class or two for free to see if your kiddo likes it, and there is so much going on there you are bound to find a place.
