Our waiter (and owner?) saw us looking like deer in headlights with no English menu to read. He spoke English and gave us spot-on recommendations for a great meal. My Salade de Brebis came with fried goat cheese filled phyllo puffs. Red onions and a bright vinaigrette provided nice contrast. The Oeufs Mayonnaise (mayo over hardboiled eggs) salad was similarly simple and satisfying. The Coustons de Kintoa (pork ribs) was a generous serving and came with a bowl of fries. This was enough for two to share after the salads. The dry-style ribs were seasoned well, and the cook highlighted the natural flavor. The crispy fries were so good with the extra sharp Dijon mustard. Paired with a glass of Bordeaux, this meal was so satisfying, and one of the more affordable ones we had in France. Great food, welcoming service, and a shockingly affordable price (€40 for two with wine). Now that is a combo I'm not sure we saw at any other Bordeaux/Paris spots we tried!

The menu is not huge but everyone can find something they like: fish, meat, veggies.. A great choice of wine with a wide range of prices.
