The kids love KOA. Great place . Nice n clean. Lots of activities. Plenty of playground areas and open fields. Clean bathrooms and showers. Nice pool. Quiet and always nice people passing through from around the country.

Loved this campground. Sylvia was very nice to talk to. Campgrounds were very clean. Tons of activities for the kids.

Horse trailer right on site. Maybe thats why there are many damn flys.

Everything is an easy walk to get to and I even dont mind the sounds of the train from Wild West Town right next door.

Ourselves and many others we spoke with were "mistakenly" charged for an extra month. Watch your accounts daily! We paid our keycard deposit in cash and the manager refused to return it in cash saying they'd mail it to us. ‍ We got in for $1,000 a month. The second Janet realized there was a decent sized construction project in the area she jacked everyone else's rate to $1200.

If it was deluxe I'd hate to see what the regular one looked like. The cottage aka trailer was filthy. Couches ripped. Floor so dirty we had to keep our shoes on. And, oh the smell! The sulfur, rotten egg smell of the water was making us gag. Get a water softer if you're marketing it as deluxe. Let's talk about the staff-- RUDE. Wait, the maintenance guys were great, considering when we got there we had no running water and they turned it on which we later regretted (remember the smell!?!) But that's where ends....we were inside for the evening when this angry staff person barged into the cottage. She did not knock. She did not introduce herself. She just yelled at us to move our car...which, mind you was parked where another staff person told us to park. When we kindly informed her of that fact -- she did not apologize. She did not ask us how we were enjoying our stay. She just yelled that they (staff) needed to communicate and stomped off. Despite having the not-so deluxe accommodations, we did have a wonderful time together enjoying each other's company. And in the end that's what it's all about.

The actual campsite was adequate for our 5th wheel. We had forgotten it was Memorial Day weekend and had a back in site rather than pull through as we requested on our online reservation. However, when I called they said they'd help us because all the pull throughs were booked. They did as promised--which made it super easy. The pool, camp store, and laundry were clean and well kept. The growing edge would be to wet down the gravel roads to help with the dust. This didn't stop us from rebooking for next year because we enjoyed it so much!

I couldn't be more disappointed with the management at this KOA campground. Let me first say we…read morebought our camper in Spring 2020, and immediately became members of KOA. In the last 4 summers, we have almost exclusively camped at KOAs because we appreciate their locations all over the country, full hookups, dog parks, and amenities. We've been guests at Milton KOA in Wisconsin several times, even renting one of their golf carts one long weekend away from our busy work schedules, and have usually enjoyed our stays. We had a sudden death in the family Friday 6/2, but we were scheduled to stay at Milton KOA June 8-10. As soon as I was aware of funeral arrangements, I immediately called the campground Saturday 6/3 to cancel. We are KOA VIP, so cancelation is supposed to cost us $0. They refused a full refund because I was canceling within 7 days of our booked stay, charging us $54.07. I offered compromises, such as changing the date of the booking, or taking a credit for a future stay, but the young associate who took my phone call wasn't accommodating. I asked to speak with a manager and was told they'd be in Monday. I've since called several times in the following 10 days, yet never once was their phone answered by a live person. I left 2 voicemails requesting management, both unreturned. I emailed with a link to the funeral information (same last name as mine), still no response. So I called KOA corporate to report the lack of management response and disrespectful customer service. They told me to wait 1-2 days, still I've heard nothing from Milton KOA. My next step will be to call corporate again, and send the paper pamphlet from the funeral in US Mail. A death in the immediate family should NEVER EVER be a reason someone does not get a full refund, or at least the respectful option to reschedule the booking without penalty. This campground, unless they fix this mistake, will not see another cent from our family during our many many camping trips. Milton, WI is a disappointment to the KOA brand, where we have been 99.9% thrilled with our other stays from Key West KOA in Florida, to Glacier KOA in Montana. I truly hope they make it right for us, and all future campers who might have a similar loss.

We camp a lot and were looking for a winter adventure over break. Bullfrog was 45 minutes away and definitely did not disappoint. First of all, the area is gorgeous. I have never been to Willow Springs and was amazed by the landscape. Hills, woods, lakes, the Des Plaines River, huge Cook County Forest Preserve areas, with ample shopping and restaurants nearby of needed make this an ideal camping destination. The campground has a welcome station with after hours gated access. We were the only campers in the cabins and our first night there were a couple other groups using tents. It was amazing basically having this place to ourselves for about $100 a night. The cabin is accessible for those with special needs so it has a roll in shower and ADA accessible routes and features, for those seeking those amenities. It had 4 bunk beds in the main sleeping area, a separate bedroom with two beds, and the aforementioned bathroom. There is a wall unit for AC and heat in both sleeping areas so our comfort was at peak level. Those babies put out the heat and fast! This was especially great after we took an 8 mile hike which included a trip to the Little Red Schoolhouse Nature Center. The cabin and surroundings were immaculate. There are also a couple heated bath houses, dining pavilions, and docks for fishing or enjoying the beautiful views. In addition to the large cabins they also offer smaller ones without heat for warmer trips. Boat rentals are available when warmer out, as well. I saw canoes and other manual craft behind a fence by the welcome station. Inside the station they sold ice cream bars and much needed firewood bundles for $5. I would guess in the summer they offer more treats. The cabin featured a large fire pit with a swing out cooking grate, which was much appreciated. We cooked many a thing on it! A picnic table is also provided at each cabin. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place for your next camping and hiking adventure. We look forward to returning this summer!
