For beers we had a blond and two pale ales. The ales had a nice red color and a great malty finish to them and although high abv at around 8% they went down rather easy. Located in a city surrounded by wine makers, Archea Brewery is knocking it out of the park. They are an independent craft brew pub founded in 2012. They have a combination of house made beers and other artisanal beers focused on Italian producers, but do have others from across the region. We had two of their beers, which were extremely flavorful, and two beers from other craft breweries. They have collaborated with some great Stateside breweries like Other Half and Cigar City. So, those are especially fun beers to try. We love their outdoor beer garden (there is some indoor seating as well) -- lots of seating, dog friendly, foosball table. The atmosphere reminds me a lot of Austin, TX breweries. Parking is easy and plentiful. Not always the case in Italy! They also have a small food counter that serves delicious "brico," bread topped with all sorts of local ingredients such as squash blossoms, 'nduja, sausage, salami, peppers, and more! It's a little out of the city center, so the parking's a bit better, but only a bit. We both ordered the BrewDog Punk IPA, a standard West Coast IPA, which was decent. I even ordered another. I got the Salmon LT sandwich, a club with salmon as opposed to bacon. Toasted, which is common in this region of Italy. Tasty, although I might have enjoyed it with a little less cream cheese. My buddy ordered the hamburger with guacamole. The burger bordered on raw, but je enjoyed it. Staff was friendly and helpful, letting us sample some of the beers before we ordered. It's a good-sized place with tons of tables, inside and out. We arrived about 6:30, and the place was mostly empty. But it filled quickly after 7 with many folks stopping for a beer and snack after work.

The pizzas and vegetarian dishes were fine. Worth a visit if you're in Imola for a while and want something very different from the traditional trattorias in town.
