I am middle-aged; I have suffered from chronic, excruciating low-back, hip, piriformis, neck and shoulder pain for years, but had given up on chiropractic care because the previous four chiropractors in Miami were unable to give me any relief, correct or keep my back in check, so I moved on. I have been to two neurologists, an orthopedic and also discussed this with my previous PCP who happens to be an amazing DO, their consensus was an ambiguous diagnosis of "piriformis syndrome" with a script for muscle relaxers. So to mitigate the pain, I've had massages for years with short-lived relief. Simple things like standing and cooking or doing dishes while leaning forward had become increasing more painful, thus making me a very irritable person (no fun). I would take breaks, go lie down before I could resume my Cinderella duties. If I walked to my neighbor's house at night to deliver brownies and we stood outside and talked, I was in pain and looking for somewhere to stretch or sit down after 5-10 min. Getting in and out of the car, sitting or standing or walking for long periods was painful--you get the picture. Finally, I could take the pain no longer, asked around, a good friend recommended Adam Colavito as the best chiropractor he's ever been to. I did my research and made an appointment. Dr. Colavito has seen/treated/adjusted me maybe five or six times and today as I write this review I have had zero pain for the last week. FYI, the four previous chiropractors I saw in my 30s and 40s who came highly recommended by friends and attorneys, they weren't bad (okay, one was bad) but another was okay and the last one pretty good, none can hold a candle to this guy, he is the best!!! I am nothing less than ECSTATIC to have found Dr. Colavito. He is, in my opinion, an experienced, knowledgeable and truly outstanding chiropractor who cares, listens, sees what's wrong and fixes it. And if you're worried about neck adjustments, don't. He should train other chiropractors on how to manipulate and adjust the neck. Bottom line, he is truly remarkable!!

I called days later to reschedule and they did not answer. They have the craziest hours and good luck getting someone to answer. I called them the day of the appointment as well to try and get ahold of them and it said on their answering service that they were not even open on Thursday's. I figured they made a mistake or something so I called back and they told me that they would schedule me and they needed my credit card number to hold the appointment. When I gave them my credit card number, they said ohhh we already have you in the system and you missed your appointment so i t will be a $40 fee. I said to them are you crazy? You never told me this when I scheduled it!!! You can't say it after the fact. That's like a scam. They literally scammed me into giving them my credit card number and then charged me $40 and never TOLD ME they were going to do this! I am now disputing it with Bank of America. It's not about the $40 it's about the principle. I would NOT recommend using them. They don't schedule things unless it's weeks in advance and if you want to reschedule, just forget about it.

He comes back and tells me that he'll see about getting me in with a massage that day and that we will start our evaluation.
