The fried plantains are light, chewy and cooked well (it can be easy to ruin fried plaintains as they are often undercooked and hard or almost boiled and mushy but this was not the case at all here). We of course asked for a side of "piment" i.e. bright orange spicy pepper paste that you add to the various dishes and our tastebuds were happy. A delightful addition to the Parisian culinary scene which does not shy away from flavor, spice, and heat. Can't wait to go back.
