Where you are greeted by Buddha's and just jaw-dropping decor/scenery. A grapevine grows all over the ceiling and it is real. The view from the "Cafe" overlooks the Ocean/Bay filled with sail boats and the old church which is situated right across the street. It still offered regular Cafe choices (regular sandwiches, great choices for kids etc) It was SOO pretty--I really assumed the food couldn't compete... I was graciously wrong. This was hands DOWN the best Thai food I have had in a LOOONNNNNNGGG Time. Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to. I still am in shock/can't believe it. And i would DEFINITELY return to this exact spot if I ever get to return. The Red Curry Dish and the Thai Noodle Soup are PERFECT. If you order both you will be a happy camper. They kind of remind me of home and the staff now knows to find me the bottle of Tabasco! Their dishes for lunch are also really yummy with that healthy twist that reminds me of California. It's quite small, with an upmarket vibe about it. The food is exquisitely presented on designer plates and each dish looked so good, you almost felt bad at having to eat it. We had the lunch menu and I felt that the prices were a little steep for what it was; however they are clearly catering for the elite end of the market here. We did feel a little under-dressed for the ambience, and had it been an evening meal I would definitely have felt uncomfortable in my casual attire. The food however was absolutely delicious. Even though my dish was basically Thai-style fish and chips, the haddock in its light batter simply melted on the tongue. Altogether the best lunchtime meal I've had in a long time. Even though we weren't prepared for the prices, the food was great and I'd love to return for an evening meal.
