My boyfriend and I just spent a few days at La Terre D'or during our first trip to France and had…read moresuch a wonderful experience! We cannot recommend it highly enough! Vincent and Fabrizio were incredible hosts, making us feel so welcome and sharing their extensive knowledge of the area. We don't speak French very well and so they kindly spoke with us in English. They helped us with dinner recommendations and reservations in Beaune each night that were fantastic. The property was absolutely beautiful with amazing views that we enjoyed while eating the delicious breakfast provided each morning on the terrace. Our room was wonderful - very beautiful, spacious, and clean. We did the all-inclusive stay with two days of wine tours, which was the perfect way to spend our time in Burgundy. Vincent was just the best tour guide and we had a blast hanging out with him for two days. He showed us around many different areas of Burgundy while teaching us about the history of the land and the wine, and also brought us to wonderful wine tastings and lunches throughout the area. We enjoyed a delicious jam tasting and we even did a chocolate tasting alongside a wine that we had all enjoyed from one of the tastings! After our stay in Burgundy we were headed south to Antibes for a few days, and Vincent gave us one of his bottles of wine to share once we got there. The whole experience was really special and something we'll never forget.

The hosts were wonderful and the place was clean and very comfortable. I think the shower was my favorite feature of my room. The breakfast was wonderful and coffee was perfect. I will stay here again if I come back to Beaune.

We pulled into Pommard around 5 pm on our way to Beaune, and wanted to…read morestop in this cute little vintner village but there was only one hotel with one room left and it was on the main road plus their wifi was out. We strolled around, checked out the menu at the two expensive restaurants in town, then ran into this place. There are only two rooms upstairs. Our room was clean and comfortable with a shower and bathroom. Our room looked out on a small private courtyard. The reasonable price included breakfast. The best part was they serve excellent bread, cheeses, sliced meats and salads in the wine bar, so we could hang out downstairs and drink a tasty Pommard pinot noir recommended by the sommelier 2 manager and enjoy the great cheeses. It used to be David & David, but this is the new name per the friendly, helpful English speaking manager.
