Some pad thais simply do not bring the right ingredients together. I tries eating at the place and the interior is very nice. It has nice seats and offers and very relaxed atmosphere. The best thing about it is that they have wi-fi. Forget about having coffee and doing work. I'm getting pad thai and I'll be on my laptop doing work here. I had their menu for 8 euros which included pad thai, a drink, and a nem. It was just perfect for a student like me. Such a sham that I discovered this place just before I leave.

There's always pad thai and pad lao (if you arrive before it's all gone) and she generally also makes a salad. Everything has a good taste, nevertheless, in the pad lao, I always find that the beef a little bit dry. You can get that with a dessert (fruit salad, yoghurt, etc.). The lady has a great sense of service because, when she's about to close (around 1.45pm), even if you didn't buy a dessert, she sometimes proposes you to take one for free. And, for a little boutique like this, it's pretty rare but you can pay by credit card. Makes things easy for people like me who almost never have cash!

We've been well welcomed by the staff who asked us if it was "our first journey", funny way to ask if we came before. The menu is pretty big (more than 30 dishes) so we quickly jumped to the lunch offer. You have the choice between 2 starters: Tom Yam Kai Yan (sup) and Tcha Yo Mou (rolls). I've taken a Tom Yam Kai Yan which tastes good but I'd have expected more spicy. I usually take it as street food in Asia and it's very spicy. Then, you can take either a Mou Pat Pig Yail (pork) or a Nua Pat Pig Yail (beef). I chose the second one with noodles. It was very tasty and rations are generous. As a dessert, you can get sweet things (lychee, nougat) or just a coffee to finish your meal. Overall, it was a good experience, I'd recommend it to anyone who would want to travel without leaving Lille! Thanks Elephanthaï for having extended the Asian journey for my stomach :-)
