I was nervous and honestly a little scared because I had no idea where I was. From the moment I walked in, the cashier was so kind and reassuring. Her friendliness immediately helped calm my nerves. Then Terry, the maintenance man, came to my rescue. He graciously took time out of his day to fix my tire in the blazing afternoon heat. It wasn't an easy repair, but he stuck with it, even using his own tools to get me safely back on the road. The kindness and generosity I was shown meant more than I can say. They made me feel like I was back home. It's people like Terry and the wonderful cashier who remind me why I'm proud to be from the South.
