While filling up our truck, my husband asked for the restroom. The clerk said, "only for customers". My husband pointed to our truck at the pump, and he said no. My husband came out, stopped pumping gas and we left. This happened today, November 30. How can you say it's only for customers while you're talking to a customer? Rude. Just plain rude. read more

The store manager shoved my husband while he was in the isle no excuse me, no apology no acknowledgment of him whats so ever but did make a comment in the sense of you have to pay to drink your gatorade assuming that he was not going to pay. As my husband went up to the clerk to pay for his drink along with other snacks my husband brought up that comment to her and Chris the manager came up other register started to argue with my husband. When my husband asked the clerk whether he was right or wrong Chris yelled at the other clerk "you dont answer or else ima fire you"!!! and continued to argue with my husband. ALL of this happened during operating hours and other customers. Is this how a manager should act? Threatening his clerk and assaulting customers and want to get physical?? Over an assumption?? The gas here is relatively cheap compared to other gas stations in this area, or at least it was when I bought gas here. If you hit this gas station during rush hour, you could spend a long time getting back on the road unless you are continuing in the same direction. Crossing traffic can be almost impossible. If you are traveling east on Glendale, don't try to buy gas here! Just wait until you are driving west. The same goes for driving south on 16th, unless you have a desire to really piss off all the drivers who are driving north as well as annoying those drivers as you try to get back into the southbound traffic flow. The convenience store is like one of those tiny houses with everything you might need squeezed into a micro space. I regard this as an acceptable gas station for emergency gas. read more

This 24 hour Gas Station is right on the corner of 16th Street and Glendale. Located right off of the 51 freeway. The small station is known to have quality gas but much higher prices. For me it is convienant that makes me a regular. The service here no matter what time of day is always friendly. I have never been to a gas station where the service people actually seem to like where they work. I am very impressed with the level of service I recieve from this service station. This location has a food mart with a variety of snacks, drinks and liquor. Lotto tickets, newspapers and other items are sold at this small food mart location. read more

Something about tonight was odd. There was an employee who had a gun in his pocket chasing a Hispanic man away from the gas station. The man did not lol homeless, possibly asking for directions but he didn't speak English... he was chased down until the edge of the pony wall when a woman in a black car stopped him and gave him money. Anyway. What bothered me the most was that he was kicking one person out but let another one sit there on the other side of the building... what is even more bothersome is that it was probably something to do with race. He kicked out the Hispanic guy and let the Caucasian woman sit there. I've had encounters with this employee and they're been coarse, short conversations.... I didn't think to call the police because I didn't want to get involved but someone should look into this. Needless to say. I am Hispanic and Italian... seeing this kind of prejudice against people of color is not really new to me but for it so happen so close and carelessly was a shock. The rest of the employees were following him like they were all in the circle to kick the guy out. I normally come here every day for snacks, a drink, alcohol and gas for the company vehicle but I will absolutely stop. The employees also made a snarky comment about homeless people, "if you leave milk out, the cats will keep coming back." Aren't we supposed to create a safe space for humans? What if he was lost??? I offered to help but when I saw the weapon on the employees pocket... I immediately felt unsafe and left. You know, one can never be to sure these days when a Caucasian man goes after a man of color with a weapon.... Quick Trip it is from now on. I hear they have a Safe Space zone where I will feel more welcome and comfortable. It's further, but definitely worth my money and piece of mind. This state is very racist... read more

Overpriced and rude.. I wont give this place (or the asshole attendant) another cent of my money. There was a spot on my hood so I was using the squeegee to get it off (it was less then the size of a dime) when the attendant runs out and tells me to stop using the squeegee on my hood. His reasoning, that the next person to use it expects a clean squeegee.. this doesn't make one bit of sense.. what would be the difference of me cleaning dead bugs off of my windshield or from the hood of my car? Nothing. Whether I used it on my hood or on my windshield the squeegee is getting dirty. All it takes is one rude asshole to alienate a customer which he did with flying colors. read more

I love the new remodel. I was so scared when I saw the remodel start that we were going to lose our local gas station for another starbucks or stupid wanna be coffee shop (we have enough coffee houses around already). This place has all new pumps, new remodeled store and some of the same great staff. I enjoy letting my kids interact with the store attendants here and they are always friendly and kind. I've never used the restrooms here so cannot comment on the restrooms. But of course who expects a clean restroom at a gas station? read more

Lady worker very rude and unprofessional . I walk with a cane and had my grandson in car with me and your pumps never give receipts anymore. A terrible inconvenience for customers like I, with incapacitating issues. I explained to her that she should let corp or supervisors know , how this is a big problem and she just waved her head and arms around stating whatever, and walking away mumbling. Wow! Terrible service, she then stated I just work here!! I told her you can take the input and let them know, she just went off and I explained my grandson is freaking out in car since I have to walk here to get the receipt, it is a big problem and also a safety issue, she just didn't care, walked away mumbling again. I got really upset seeing how , she could care less. Unfortunately , I got very irate too!! If they are not there to take that info they should give us a corp number to call to complain or something. Nevertheless it's a problem that should be addressed before someone's safety is jeopardized by lack of good customer service!! This service station is on Broadway and Plummer in Tucson Arizona. She was the rudest little thing ever, people who don't know how to handle public situations should not be working with people, they should stick to back stock only!! read more

IMO what others say (about people here) is unfortunately true. I've lived in this neighborhood many years, so have spent my fair share here, even when gas is 20c cheaper a couple miles south. I always try to pay at the pump, but this Chevron's card readers often malfunction, so I go inside then, or if I'm buying something in the mini mart. Ms Holly is extremely nice-always- but the others act as if they're doing you a ginormous favor to stop their bull session long enough to take your money. Don't look for niceties like "how's it going?" or "thanks for stopping by," even if you patronize them every day for years. One guy always avoids giving you a receipt, unless you make an issue of it. Customers want gas receipts for rental cars, expense accounts, deductions, or just because. Some companies ask if you want your receipt, but they don't cling to it, like a yard dog with a bone. read more

Air! They have air, and you don't have to ask the attendant to turn it on. This is big bonus points in my book. Who's had to also dig around for quarters and be frustrated when the attendant won't turn it on, "ya gotta pay" is all they say! Not here, fellow Yelpers!! read more

So I put change in my console and every now and then I'll take what I had accumulated and put in gas. So I was at the pump and counted my money it was 17$ I'm a bartender so I know how to count money. I go in and give the guy the money and said "17 on 8" he then says ok and I go to the pump and look at the screen and it says pump out of service. So i whip my car around to pump 1 and go inside and told the guy with the hat and gray hair that the pump says out of service. He then says well it shouldn't be and the guy paying him in front of me say to the clerk "you just told me pump 5 and 8 were down" then the clerk said well it just says that but you can still use it. So the nice lady working with him says I'll help u and I told her thank you 17 on now pump 1. Then I couldn't believe what happened next she said ok 13 on 1. She told me this as I'm walking out and I stopped and said no 17 on 1. Then the guy said no you gave me 13. That's even what u said. First of all I'm not a idiot I just counted right before I came in. So he lied right to my face and said "well I counted 13" so either the guy can't count past 13 or he lied and didn't even count the money and put it in his drawer. I went into the Chevron at 16th St and Glendale to get some lottery tickets and asked for the exact same tickets I have asked for there and other places many times without any confussion. I was handed a completely wrong set of tickets and asked for the correct set, I was told I was given a lot of push back from both clerks with no desire to try and understand what I as asking for, so I said I think maybe I need to go somewhere else. I was told I was being obstinate and rude and told to leave. I did not raise my voice, but was trying to get what I asked for without any cooperation. I was just dumb founded, and left, I think after 30 years I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I have been frequenting gas stations for many years now and I have seen my fair share of dumps. I can't vouch for the quality of gas other than my car hasn't had fuel filter issues, but I can say the service there sucks. Their cc swipe on the pumps weren't working and I had to go in, to which I found two clerks chewing gum and leaning on the back wall behind the counter. I had to ask for them to ring me up. You would have thought that I asked them to change my tire. I know working at a gas station probably isn't their dream job, but it is their job at least for a little bit. read more

Today I witnessed the worst service person ever. A young lady with her children was tryng to gas in her cars. There was obviously a problem with either her card or the gas station but the cashier was the rudest person ever. Obviously very disgruntly that she had to work on Christmas but once I heard her say she was the owner and to get the f""" out that really blew me away. Then came running after her with mace towards her and children We followed the girl to the next gas station and gave her gas since her card was by now frozen up with 30.00 of charges and she was so shaken up. read more
