Beware of this gas station after dark!!…read more I ran inside to withdraw money from the ATM when a couple of young girls came in. One chatted up the cashier while the other slammed into me as I was sliding my card. She stood shoulder to shoulder with me, stared at the screen, and ignored my requests for her to back up. It was clear that they were planning on robbing someone, so I walked out before withdrawing any money. My husband (who was waiting outside with our two small children in a stroller) had a similar experience with a homeless woman in the parking lot. She circled around him and repeatedly tried to touch our 9 month old daughter while mumbling to herself.

After striking out at a few nearby people, and not having a vehicle to use the drive thru of others, we ended up here to grab a few snacks and drinks. As soon as you walk in, this place is cramped. Along with it being cramped, it wasn't all that well stocked with many different items. The selection is sparse, but you should be able to find something to ebb the hunger you are feeling. It took me some time, but I was able to find a few items and headed towards the register. Luckily for me, the cigarettes I needed they had on hand. I made my purchases and headed out the door.

They have a large iced down beer trough area, an ATM and you can get milk and lottery tickets here. Plenty of domestic beer found here and they do have some Galveston Island Brewing beer along with some wine choices. They have an acceptable coffee and drink station, but no freshly delivered pastries. It's a good place to grab and go if you don't mind paying convenient store prices.
