    Broadway Mobil

This place has an identity crisis. Yelp calls it Broadway Mobil. Google calls it Broadway Citgo…read more The pumps out front call it Royal Farms. The current sign out front has a patriotic looking W. I did asked what it stood for when I was in here, but I cannot, for the life of me, remember what they had said. But I digress. I ended up coming here to grab a drink and use the facilities. However, I should have skipped the facilities. More on that later. Inside the convenience store portion of this, it does exactly what it is there for. This location has a lot to offer and can definitely fill a need you are looking for. I grabbed myself a drink, paid and headed out to use the facilities. Before that, I had no idea about this, but you can walk around Galveston drinking as long as it is in a brown paper bag. The facilities here, if you can hold it, skip them. I could not. I went in and because of the lights, it was filled with bugs of all kings flying around. This is the lowest example of a bathroom that you could get. I mean, it had a toilet and sink, but everything else in there was totally ruined. You can tell that this is used by all types of people. Especially the razor left on the counter. I didn't even bother to wash my hands in here as I knew it wouldn't do any good. Yikes!

This is my first gas station review and I have to admit it's not a place I would like to come back…read moreto. It looks old, beat up and weathered. This place has had no upgrades in many years. It doesn't seem to be located in the best part of town either since one of Galveston's homeless decided the panhandle the customer at the pump next to me. The prices were reasonable enough and the pump was sufficient. But as you know, a picture is worth 1000 words so see the photos below.

You can literally find just about anything you need here, from snacks and souvenirs to fresh food and desserts. The moment you walk in, the smell of fresh brisket and barbecue hits you right away. The brisket sandwiches are fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The bakery section is dangerous in the best way possible, filled with so many delicious goodies and sweet treats that it's hard to choose just one. The hot food section had so many tasty options available that I honestly couldn't decide what to get. Everything looked fresh, hot, and delicious. No matter what you're craving, they probably have it. The store itself was super clean, well organized, and surprisingly efficient considering how busy it gets. The staff kept everything moving smoothly, and the atmosphere was fun and energetic. If you've never been to Buc-ee's, you need to stop at least once. And once you do, you'll probably find yourself wanting to stop every time you see one on the road.

Back again from California for Easter cruise 2026…read more The fudge assortment box was stale. I threw it in the trash. Sandwiches were good. Pulled pork and brisket. Had chicken strips too. The potato chip things were not good. They were stale and soggy. We were able to get a couple of bottles of wine for the hotel room next door. They had the braver mascot in the store so the kids were able to take a photo either him and that was cool.
