I stopped here to get gas for my gas saver vehicle that my BF is currently repairing. When I bought…read morethis car years ago, I only used BP gas in it so I decided to continue to do so. Luckily the gas was only $3.69 (ONLY! HA. That's a joke all in itself. But I digress. Sooooo). I enter the store and was overwhelmed by the smell of fish. Well damn-it I did not expect this! I look over to my left and I see "Live Bait" then I look over to my right and there is a woman sitting there selling Boiled Peanuts. Okay she gave me a look like "Why You Frowning Heifer?" and I gave her a "Cause it f'ing stinks up in here!" look right back. :) The store is like a shack that has been put together in pieces by whomever owns the place. Think Legos that don't all fit together and you try to connect a new part of a Lego Building with Toothpicks....That does not make for a smooth walking transition. The store was okay in side as far as prodicts go. It was not messy but I didn't feel as if it was really clean. That could be in part because it's darker than a mug in there. But it's a very old building and lighting must not have been a big deal 20 years ago. I walked all around it as I could feel eyes coming from all directions as I toured the place with a frown still plastered on my face. Sorry but I could not get past the smell. Even the pumps are a bit old. Not the kind that you push the lever up but it has the one that you slide a piece/block up and down to start and stop your pump. This was not a problem, but that's just FYI and should give you an indication of how old the store is. The staff was nice (Well maybe not the mean mugging Boiled Peanut watching woman. But I propbably started that one. LOLz) the gas didn't bother my vehicle and the price was just right.

This seems to be a very popular gas station for some reason, even though there is a Shell and…read moreTexaco gas station right near the BP and their gas is all the same price. The BP does look very shabby, the lighting inside is very dull and it is cramped inside but they do have a lot of items in there. As far as gas stations go, it is ok, it has gas and that is really all you need!

I wasn't planning on going inside but at that point I was just trying to avoid the 2nd hand smoke. I searched for posted signs that said no dogs and found none posted on front entrance, so I asked him If I could go inside with my dog and he rudely said no, I asked why, he whileleaning towards me in an agressive tone said " BECAUSE I SAID SO". I asked where was the posted sign, he didnt respond and walked away, I asked for his name and he kept walking, I asked several times but he ignored me. I waited until my daughter came out and handed her dog so I could go inside and take a look at his name tag. This is really bad customer service on behalf of this employee, and needs to be retrained on how to communicate Racetrac policies. I am a VIP member With Racetrac Debit Cardbut due to this I will be canceling my membership and finding another Gas company where to put gas.

Well, I finally made my way to the viral Buc-ee's…read more Everything you heard about this place... Is most likely true....( well at least the good things) A teenage tik tok dream When i visited this store on a Friday morning And Sunday afternoon It was like Black Friday in summer Kids everywhere completely packed The noise level was so loud i couldn't even hear my friend standing next to me The bathroom was immaculate Not sure how they keep up With the high volume of people using it I got a brisket sandwich It was ok Not the best, not the worst The cookies were good The peanut butter flavored one stood out to me Customer service Especially when you consider How many people the employees deal with in 24hrs I believe buc-ee's should be experienced by everyone It reminded me of times when people used to go to malls When everyone was outside Buc-ee's is more than just stepping into a store It's a complete experience

I'm a die-hard fan of all the weird and wonderful that is Buc-ee's, but despite this being my…read moremost-frequented location, this one falls flat. Buc-ee's is more than a gas station... it's an experience! This one sits a little past halfway on the Nashville-to-Atlanta drive, so a lot of us hit it often, and that's my main gripe: it is way, way too crowded. Almost every visit, even off-peak, there's traffic just getting off the highway and into the lot. They don't manage it well for a lot this size, and it always feels like you're one distracted driver away from a fender bender. Parking is tough, sometimes requiring circling around or parking far away. I come here mostly for the clean bathrooms, so having to wait in line for the women's restroom on two recent visits felt outrageous given there must be fifty stalls in there. Inside, weird and tasty snacks galore. Everyone says get the brisket and jerky, but insiders know the breakfast burritos are the true star, fresh-made flour tortillas and all. The highlight of my last stop was dill pickle sour straws, handed out as samples, excellent. The sugar-roasted candied pecans look tempting but are rarely actually fresh and warm at this location, which is frustrating. Then there's a warehouse-worth of home goods, clothing, house supplies, and anything you can print a Bucc-ee on. The t-shirts are my favorite, absurdly soft, my fave for sleeping in. This spot is ultimately still a classic Buc-ee's experience. But the crowds and the traffic and the general hassle make me think twice about stopping. Gas here is cheap, though not the cheapest on the route.
