I said if it was that much, I'd rather buy the $23.99 12-pack of another brand, but the cashier told me they wouldn't refund the six pack he'd just rung up. Setting aside that ridiculous price - it's a gas station mini, mart, sometimes you pay a lot for convenience - two things about this are unethical at best: 1) Displaying a false price, or implying a false price by misleading shelf pricing. 2) Refusal to refund when the price doesn't match the apparent displayed price. It's one thing to not offer refunds on goods (especially beer) that have left the store, but another when we're still standing at the counter immediately after ringing up the sale. There's no reason for a business to be so customer-hostile except that they rely on one-time customers. They're definitely not getting any repeat business from me.

Make sure to wander into the Beer Cave (you'll be greeted by a moose overhead--hard to miss and very memorable). The selection is great and the presentation is just plain fun. They also stock Anna's Bread, which is a must--seriously, don't leave without a loaf (you'll thank me later). And yes, there's a Bigfoot out front just waiting for a photo op. Service - Self service. Price - $4.89 a gallon, less expensive than expected. And whatever my wife bought. The car wash was $7.99. And the cars did NOT leave dry?!?!
