Setting aside that ridiculous price - it's a gas station mini, mart, sometimes you pay a lot for convenience - two things about this are unethical at best: 1) Displaying a false price, or implying a false price by misleading shelf pricing. 2) Refusal to refund when the price doesn't match the apparent displayed price. It's one thing to not offer refunds on goods (especially beer) that have left the store, but another when we're still standing at the counter immediately after ringing up the sale. There's no reason for a business to be so customer-hostile except that they rely on one-time customers. They're definitely not getting any repeat business from me.

There are rarely employees around and always have a difficult time finding anyone to help. There are long lines because......no employees are working! The employees who are there are rude, unfriendly, and honestly, not sure how they could have been qualified to be hired. Lastly, the store typically has homeless people walking in and out if the store and am always followed and hassled getting to my car with them begging for money and harassing. The folks here are very friendly and greeted me as I entered. They just entered the modern era at the Acme General Store - they had just added for the first time ever - an electronic credit card reader!
