Instead of trying to update it, they decided to completely tear ot down and start over. That was a very wise decision because this gas station is ON POINT!! Before the changes there were only 2 gas pumps. Now there are 6 (or 8...I forgot that quickly)! Everything is nice and clean and it's a lot more spacious inside. There's even nice clean bathrooms inside. I couldn't be happier about the changes they made to that old, smelly, rundown excuse for a gas station they had before! Now.... if only they would do something about the, Auto Zone, Family Dollar, Church's Chicken, some of those other rundown businesses, and that broken sidewalk in that area, THEN that whole neighborhood would be a lot better!

When I arrived there were drug addicts standing around and laying down in front of the store begging for money. When I walked in the store itself was an absolute mess. I tried to get a fountain drink and 4 different flavors were without syrup. When the store first opened there was security that made sure customers were safe. Tonight I asked the clerk about security, he said there was no security. I understand that the store is located in the "ghetto" but you need to understand that doesn't excuse the lack of proper customer service.

Be aware of your surroundings at all times because homeless people there will try to pick your pocket, manipulate money out of you or find a way to trick you.
