On the grounds on this church is the grave of Mercy L. Brown who was a young girl who was thought to be a vampire. A quick google search will bring up all kinds on info, but it's worth mentioning that her death was said to have influenced both H.P. Lovecraft and Bram Stocker. The grounds are really well maintained and it was nice to walk around. Plus it was cool to explore a part of RI I never visit. Coming here was a really fun and different date idea, so if your friends/lovers are into spooooooky supernatural stuff it's a must see. read more
