Obviously it melted. We just mentioned it to the front desk, not as a complaint but that the frig did not work. That afternoon Chris, the mgr provided us with replacement ice cream. Wow. Above and beyond expectations. Also, the complementary breakfast, prepared by Regina was totally awesome. This hotel is the best in all of Chester, California. Price is reasonable. Only one small complaint. The TV does not carry any Networks. So, no ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX.

Fresh air and shade. The HH menu had lots of great food and drink choices at a great price point. Fresh ahi, salads, and great fried snacks like cheese curds. There is a shaded picnic area, dog walking area, drinking water, ample parking, access for both east and west bound traffic, and clean restrooms--everything you could want in a rest area. We spent several nights with another couple in one of the Bailey Creek Cottages. Our friends had a…read more"view" room ($179/night) which had sliding glass doors that opened onto a deck and looked out onto the end of the driving range and beyond. There were additional windows on the side walls, so the room was open and bright. Because there were no more view rooms available, we were given a "partial view" ($159/night) room. This room had a sliding glass door on the side wall which opened onto a deck and faced directly onto the siding of the cottage next door. To get a "view" necessitated going onto the deck and looking toward the end for an obstructed view. The room had one window and was dark. We had to keep the lights on all day. There was one more window in the bathroom, otherwise that was it. I would never stay there again. Beware if you book a partial view room as it is exceptionally unsatisfactory in all respects.
